There are clouds like this outside my house right now. I live in the suburbs of Denver. There'll just be a lot of wind and a strong thunderstorm. KDEN is always a turbulent approach. But tornadoes are of course possible. A very nice video by the way.

No, tornadoes don't happen in Colorado, if they do they are in far east Colorado and in very unpopulated areas. Thunderstorms and Blizzards are common though.

yeah, you don't want to fly out of denver with clouds like that. it's so bumpy, that you feel the plane is gonna fall flat to the ground. i hate it when i fly out of denver in that kind of weather. it's so bumpy, that i've seen people not taking it and puking in the restroom. the weather on spring and summer is pretty bad out here when you have to land or take off from or out of denver.

That storm isn't that bad. 25 years ago Colorado got much worse, and more often. I recall seeing inside of a short, open funnel cloud in June of 1983.

Atlanta in maybe in 2 or 3 years will be the biggest because they are going to make another concourse to make the international section a little bigger.

Yeah when I went to Denver last year there was a huge storm like that. Did yours spawn a tornado? I remember being in bed at like 3 am and the sirens going off. Ughh! I am also a frequent flier on United, so this was the worst turbulence I've ever experienced in all my days of flying. It lasted for about 25 minures(turbulence) until we landed and boy, was it terrible.
