I'm generally open-minded when it comes to mainstream influences in metal music - I even came to love Soilwork's 'Figure Number Five' and In Flames' most recent albums - but this album is just an embarrassment. These guys are one over-produced, pop-like chorus away from turning into Fallout Boy or Good Charlotte, and any discernable trace of metal in their music has now vanished into the synth crap and electronic beats. Somewhere in Sweden, there's a producer who needs to have his ass kicked.

Realistically, some of the songs on the new album were a step in the right direction and were actually really cool. But really, the band is limiting their potential. Eden Fire showed that they CAN be a fantastic band, but they decided to sell-out, forget how to play anything but power chords, and make generic shit to appeal to the masses. It's a shame really.... Eden Fire-like songs with Nathan on cleans would sound fucking great!
