  • lol myspace xD

  • all that work for something you can only notice up close. hmm. :/

  • For those of you who are confused, he is putting the T Shirt AROUND the arm of the sewing machine... so no, he is not sewing through all four layers of fabric, only two.

  • So you sew through both of the shirts?

  • @JohnMichaelBradshaw thats what it looks like but if u think about it, how the hell r u gunna get ur body in lol idn just put the sewing machene in the shirt like under the needle.

  • @algitrath he did say sew it all the way around/etc... can't sew around it if you just slide it cloesd under the needle

  • @JohnMichaelBradshaw yes you do!!!!!!!

  • @shnalomon I already made one but I made it the hard way :P

It still looks pretty good though! :)

  • UR SO SKINNY

  • @Miss2HaveFun MAYBE YOU'RE JUST FAT! HAHAHAHA! I kid, i'm sorry.

  • nice tatoos

  • Amazing!!!

  • when your using a sewing machine does the thread not go all the way through?

like to the other side of the tshirt

  • i need a sewing machine!!!! D:

  • I made a black and white one, looks awesome

  • @19LC13 i bet it does

  • What a great idea!!! Loved this technique and it's something I can do right away. Thanks!!!

  • omg daaaaaaaaaang hes skinnnnnnnnnnnnnny. like dayyymn. cute shirt, i would leave the sleeves though.

  • He is sooo cute (:

  • shave man! u look retarded

  • I just saw that his work table was actually a picnic table :D That's so original (both the table and shirt xD)

And I am SO making one one these! :D

  • He is sooo aborable (:

  • after you pin the shirt, remove it very carefully because the second you do, all of your female audience instantly stops paying attention to the stitching. Dang, hawtie!

  • This shirt is almost way too cool to wear. I'm afraid I'll make someone jealous. Oh well! A risk I'll have to take. This shirt is SO awesome! :D

  • Right on! I'm thinking that two differently colored shirts would also be great. Making the lines diagonal could also be interesting. I mean, you can't go wrong with horizontal stripes, but for the second shirt that you make...it would be fun to change it up a bit like that.

  • He looks like a holocaust victim.

  • dude needs to eat a sandwich, lol

  • if he would shave a little bit, he would be really hot...... he is right now in the weird way too, after all.

  • andrew needs to cut his hair

  • i fucking love this shirt

  • his tattoos are fucking sexy.

    the shirt is hot.

  • stop hating on him everyone! So he's not a Brad Pitt, a lot of people look the same as him. Get over it!! This vid was not about him shirtless, it was about how to make the shirt cool, so get over yourselves!!

  • hes fine u guys!!:)

  • He looks fine the way he is. Stop being a fascist.

  • some people are skinny just because they are that way..

  • btw this is a response.... to 2galaxystars

  • hahaha classic

  • that man is a stranger to twin blade razors

  • he is way too skinny, but good idea!

  • i think it would look cooler if you mixed the shirt colours up so you had stripes of alternating colour

  • @jimjamjoguy I wonder if you could also use the same technique but with a checkerboard, triangle, or diamond pattern? Or vertical stripes?

  • He is so cute :)

    He makes me smile :)

  • You don't have to take the sleeves off no. You can do it with but its just a bit more difficult to get under the machine.

  • this is an awesome idea and i'm gonna do it... with 2 different colors offcourse:D

    p.s.i love his beard!!!!:D

  • So would it matter if I didn't cut the sleeves off? I mean I'm not to fond of sleeveless shirts.

  • This is a sweet idea!

  • yeah, different colours would have been cool too.

but this shirt is pretty sweet :D so jokes

  • he should have used two different colored shirts

  • Your right, so that's why a new one will air soooon!

  • it would also be way cooler to use scrap fabric instead of wasting a second shirt

  • what the hell? it's way easier and more accurate to NOT put the shirts on...

  • He's not going for Accuracy I think

  • that is so cool but i thick I'll use like two different shades of a colour like a light green and a dark green

  • i don't think you can sew it without sewing the shirts together.

I think he did sew em together but like cut between the threads or something, i'm not really sure.

  • How do you sew it without sewing both the shirts together?

  • ya ? he like is sewing them together ??

  • he didnt sew them together

  • he took the shirt and opened the pddle then put it around the sewing machine to make sure not to sew the from and back together.

sewing the likes holds the two shirts together.

  • itd be cool if he put a contrasting color under the top layer.

  • this guy makes the coolest stuff and he has a bitchin beard

  • wow thats a really kool idea :)

  • huh... interesting way to make striped shirts! (:

this'll come in handy for when i make my flapjack costume. XD

  • Wow! I loved the work, keep it up

  • does anyone know what brand of shirts he uses cause i know he is into the sweatshop free

  • but i want to know how he sewed it withoutactually sewing the two shirts together

  • Skinny bastard!

  • yea i was thinking "god he's awfully skinny!" lol

  • i made mine but mine is black and gres the undershirt is black and is long sleeved and has clean cut sleeves and the grey shirt has no sleeves and the edges are rough cut and i used some grey fabric matching the top shirt to make a hoddie by using duct tape to make the stripes to i could spray paint it

  • did you make that belt if you did or know how to then can you make a video that shows how to make one.(studded belt 1:00)

  • I admire him...:D good job..and I love DIY

  • nice tattoo

  • nice

    - paulmaywood dot com

  • mine uses two shades of gray. The darker gray one has skulls on it. I added a hoodie to it and made a hair tie out of braided up leftover material.

  • did u make that hoodie. that shit hard as hell

  • it looks like an american apparel hoodie that he added to.

  • grrr how do you not sew your shirt shut!

  • Just make sure to seperate the layers of your shirt before you sew...it helps if you pin the two layers together. Hope you've figured it out. XD

  • thanks for the vid :) Just made a gray one, it looks awesome! It was a little too big at first, so I used the method described in the shirt altering tut to slim it, turned out good =) Keep up the great work Andrew and Thread Heads, you rule!!

  • i made one of those in black and red and it looks so fricken awsome dude!

  • That is one cool shirt. Nice job.

  • i think this would be great with two DIFFERENT shirts, more contrast! maybe even angles instead of stripes

  • That's freakin awesome!!! I'm SO going to do that! =D

  • you're awesome!!

  • YOU ROCK ANDREW HANSON.

  • Your jacket is so cool! (the shirt is, too) =]

  • man, you guys are way too judgemental. if someone told you to change YOUR hair all because they didn't like it you might say "fuck you, this is how i like it" obviously he wants it that way or he wouldn't do it...jeez...

  • I think you would look so killa if you just did a little trim around the edges of your beard. Like the guy from BONES.

  • Why doesn't he cut his hair and beard?!

  • two different colored shirts would be cool. But dude....shave your beard..

  • polka dots on guys is really disturbing, otherwise, I enjoy watching these.

  • So simple and so cool. I love your jacket and all the ones like it on your website.

  • i think u put the title wrong cuz thats how to make a stripe shirt

but otha than that keep the fashion enemy vids commin

  • I think. I'm going to try it with 2 different colours. Just have to get some t-shirts.

  • Hot bod' man ;) Except, the shirt was already a fitted shirt, you're just striping it ): I was really hoping for a tutorial on how to make a big shirt fitted. poopy.

  • ya, threadbanger's already did a video on that too. :) it's somewhere in they're pile of video's, check it out

  • I know about the button shirt, but I meant like, a huge T-shirt. I'll figure it out though.

  • Oooh, love the hoodie!

  • sweet idea, man. but, this is a striped shirt. not a fitted shirt.

  • oh hey. on second thought, you (threadbangers or AH) should do a fitted tee video. like, i get that you can pin a shirt's sides and use a sewing machine to make them tighter, but what about the sleeves??

  • this isnt a fitted shirt, its a striped shirt...its a cool method (i like that there's texture on the stripe edges)

  • i liked the ear piercing noise on the letters =( lol

  • nice one

  • Andrew Hanson here, two colors eh? Show me what you got. I would love to see this in two colors... anyone? anyone?

  • that's a sweet tutorial man!

  • i think it would have shown better to use 2 different color shirts atleat for the purpose of the tutorial

  • sorry to the people who liked the noise!

but thanks times a million to fashion enemy for taking my suggestion! you rule!

    i liked this tutorial. :)

  • Oooo another great idea to try.... I think I might dig into my old t-shirts and see what I can come up with X3

  • cool idea

when i get some shirts i'll try it

  • But the green letter noise is da bomb!!!

  • andrew hanson!! whoot whoot! i love this guy.

but i liked him a wee bit better clean shaven :P

    cheers either way!

  • oh so glad u got rid of the piercing noise!!

  • awesome! though i'd use two different colored shirts, maybe slant the strips... hmm. This is gonna be great!

What's everybodies screennames' on the TB forum? Mine is CaterpillarHero (betcha never had guessed)

  • Nice I could use this.

  • Ooooh!!!! WANT! And he's got a picnic table in his house. How cool is that?

  • Andrew,u wudn't happen 2 b related 2 Phil Hansen wud u?

  • oh chris hansen >_>

  • Huh? Looks like you sewed through the whole shirt. I don't get it...

  • i think the arm (or watever its called) of the sewing machine is inside the shirt

  • make one of those jackets that zips all the way up. but with a cool desing like a face, and eye holes.

  • i like the noise too :(

  • awesome! Maybe sometime soon you can do some long sleeve shirt stuff, I'd love to see what you can do with them!

  • NOOO!!

    Keep the noise.

    I like it!

    That was a great tutorial.

I feel like making one now.
