Right on! I'm thinking that two differently colored shirts would also be great. Making the lines diagonal could also be interesting. I mean, you can't go wrong with horizontal stripes, but for the second shirt that you make...it would be fun to change it up a bit like that.

You don't have to take the sleeves off no. You can do it with but its just a bit more difficult to get under the machine.

i made mine but mine is black and gres the undershirt is black and is long sleeved and has clean cut sleeves and the grey shirt has no sleeves and the edges are rough cut and i used some grey fabric matching the top shirt to make a hoddie by using duct tape to make the stripes to i could spray paint it

Just make sure to seperate the layers of your shirt before you sew...it helps if you pin the two layers together. Hope you've figured it out. XD
