Great video! It would be amazing if you could diagram ALL motor pathways such as Rubrospinal, lateral recticulospinal, cereleospinal, raphespinal, medial corticospinal, tectospinal, medial reticulospinal, med.vestibulospinal, lat.vestibulospinal-Your diagramming is most helpful- thank you!
Yesssssss!!!!! I REALLY appreciate the visual explanation!!!!!!!!!! Great job----you will be adored when you are a professor. You also make it very interesting and understandable. Makes me think twice about the profession that I am currently pursuing. Thank you once again~
Gosh...thank you SOOO much. These pathways are so confusing and this visual explanation helps tremendously. It really puts a bunch of jumbled words into an understandable pathway. thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Think upper motor neuron (UMN) as the "boss" of the lower motor neuron (LMN). When the "boos" is away the employees will play. This means that the LMN contracts readily and you will see spastic movements. Inversely, think about damage to the LMN. If it's damaged it's not working optimally and therefore, there will be decreased (or flaccid) muscular movements. So, upper is increased and lower is decreased movement.
What's the name of song in the background ? it's nice and calms...:)
