  • freakin love steven spielberg

  • imagine making jurassic park and schindlers list in the same year.. one being the highest grossing movie and the other winning you an oscar for directing, i bet thats the best year of his life.

  • What about the goonies?

  • @Hazzller he wasn't director he was a producer, same as in gremlins and a lot of other movies

  • @Hazzller He produced it but didn't direct it.

  • Close Encounters of the third kind only won two oscars, not six......

  • E.T. was released by Universal, not Columbia Tristar. WatchMojo needs to check their videos once in a while. :/

  • LOL. They don't want to mention 1942

  • I just saw Super 8. Spielberg you still got it!!!!

  • @MrHugawookie He didn't direct Super 8.

  • @TheWhiteKnight89 Sorry, produced.

Oh and thanks for bringing my favourite comic hero ever (Tintin) to the big screen, by the way <3 awesome trailer!

  • @lalacooby Jim Cameron as highest grossing director your probably right as much a i hate to say it, I really disliked avatar, I can't describe why i just didn't.

  • @ShortRound24 It has a very predictable plot line. Although i didnt really notice its predictability at first (most of us were stunned by graphics) what I really kept thinking is "wow, these aliens and their supporters are a bunch of hippies."

  • @lalacooby just because Jim cameron's movies have earned big bucks doesn't mean he would even match let alone beat Spielberg. I find Jim Cameron's movies after terminator 2 very plastic and shallow, sure they have made loads of money but so did transformers 2 a look how that turned out. Christopher Nolan i respect much more as a creative visionary because his movies have depth, a sense a realism and compiling story wise, Avatar was a recycled turd from the last 100 years of film.

  • haha, 3:31: "hi-A-tus"

  • haha, 3:31 - "hi-A-tus"

  • @lalacooby don't forget about Christopher Nolan with The Dark Knight Rises

  • I'm surprised ''The Terminal'' wasn't mentionned in this list. I hope to see his Tintin movies soon.

  • STEVEN SPIELBERG U ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I can't wait for Tintin

  • Spielberg is my HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Favorite film is E.T. that's my opinion though.

  • he's 63 and in good health for some nice movies coming.............

  • Why no mentions of "1941", "Always" or "The Terminal"?

  • @adamzanzie 1941...? even Spielberg tries to forget that one.

  • @International1986 Right, but a proper evaluation of Spielberg's career is incomplete without a mention of "1941" or those other titles I mentioned.

  • I'm just happy about the fact that Spielberg seems relatively young and in good health, so can live many more film making years. Long Live Spielberg !

  • @bananaman17 do you like christopher nolan's movies?

  • The Beard looks great after all these years.

  • i wish can be like him !! HE IS MA IDOL !!!

  • alfred hitchcock remains the best film director of all time, hitchcock was the master

  • WatchMojo why dont you get the "likes" ? =( thanks for sharing!
