Just throwing it out there: Why did they wait for the gunmen in the dinner? They were outnumbered, outgunned. Why didn't they call for Tony and Ziva? Did they think they would win without a problem? And if they did, how could somebody like Mike Franks have underestimated his enemy?

Everytime I watch the episode Judgement Day, I tear up. Jenny was one of my favourite characters. Yes I know this is a TV show, but it's still so sad. I hate Vance and in my opinion he's a horrible director. Jenny was the greatest. What gets me most is that she died alone and she still loved Gibbs but nothing happened with them again. I'll always miss her. RIP Jenny Shepard. Best damn NCIS Director they had <3

The first time I watched Judgement Day, all I thought was that it was a Director Shepard episode, and since she is my favorite character I decided to watch the episode. When we heard that last gunshot, I could not believe it. Gibbs still drove her mad, she still drove him nuts. Nothing can happen now. God be with Gibbs, he cannot keep anything good that happens to him. The good things are taken away violently.
I didn't like Vance neither until Season 6's "Cloak" when we hear SecNav telling him to get NCIS' "house in order." It is presumed that that was his main objective - to clean up Shepard's mess - as the new boss of NCIS. I completely understand his position at that point because it is real...damn...hard to fix a broken agency.
Shepard used the powerful resources of an Armed Federal Agency to go on a personal vendetta. That's like a sleazy banker using your money in your savings account to fund his lavish lifestyle. Misappropriating Federal funds and resources in the manner that Shepard did warrants an investigation and an indictment by a Congressional Committee. Trust me, not even the FBI Director wants to go through that and he's more powerful than the NCIS Director.
I think that they knew about it, and plus Jenny the character had Huntington's chorea, she would have died a slow painful death and with Huntingtons she wouldn't have been able to be the director anyway. Plus she died protecting Gibbs. I miss her though still, and in my opinion Vance is a sucky director!!!Jenny was the best!!
i wish lauren holly watches all these videos, so she understands how bad everybody misses her... Can somebody tell me why she left the show? some say that she left ncis 'cause she wanted spend more time with her family, but is that really the reason? Because, she has never really commented her leaving the show. So can somebody please tell me? :o
i keep telling myself that this is just a tv-show, these happenings aren't real. But still it makes me cry when i watch these videos about jennys dead, it's just too sad. She was the best of all <3 R.I.P<3
