  • I remember this day! I got pelted with it......a lot -.-

  • Too bad your metal boiler took most of the noise.

  • intresting video i liked it keep up the good work :D

  • Thanks Fishkiller. I will be trying my 100% best to catch cool convective things this year!

  • Was this hail all over the place?

  • It sure was, it was a like a light dusting of snow at the time and they made great noise as they bounced off the car. Maghera and Tobermore got the brunt of it. There were golf ball hail stones in Antrim this year.

  • The storm was cool, but where the hell is the rainbow? I thought Ireland had a butt-load of rainbows. Dammit, there goes another myth.

  • It's OK Chris....we get loads of rainbows here, even fogbows and moonbows so the myths are correct. I didn't see any bow on that day though. Cheers.

  • oh my god it is like the day after tomorrow in f p mc canns site did you risk life and limb gettin tis footage

  • Fantastic hail storm Martin. Funny when you kept going "Jakers!"! I liked the big rumble of thunder too. Very loud.

  • Thanks Harry, lol, yes I was getting carried away, the way in which I could see the ice blocks falling against the blue sky was a strange sight. I'm now waiting for more storms!

  • Thanks Supercellstorm. It was the best hail storm I have ever seen here. Unfortunately we don't get this kind of weather on a daily basis, however, Spring and Summer is the thunderstorm season so we hope to see more sights like this over the next 4 months or so.

  • Video Amazing! I have given 5 stars nothing else that I have seen such incredible curtains hail that precipitated this great cumulonimbus, it is spectacular as these convective cells cause showers of ice as local affection to their part of the core area stormy together with the sun causing some images precious and rarely seen, Spain is lacking this kind of storm, there you are very lucky to have numerous storms almost daily :).

    Thank you, Ivan.
