  • Father God, I pause to remember the real reason of this Christmas season. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! You are the reason I live, the reason I celebrate, the reason I have peace. Thank You for your great love. Today I fix my eyes not on my To-Do list but on You, the author and finisher of my faith. You are the greatest gift I know. This season all I want for CHRISTmas is more of You. Your presence is my present. In Your glorious name I pray, Amen.

  • winter solstice pagan holiday..not jesus birthday but TAMMUZ (Mithra)

  • Just to let you know, most people don't know this, Xmas was originally just as Christian as saying Christmas. The X is greek is pronouced "K" or "Cho" the first letter in Christos "Christ".

  • Awesome, texasoperastar, I agree.....There was a day.....A very special day! The Lamb of God was born (Word in Flesh). In a manger, right where the pascal lambs without spot or blemish was kept for sacrafice. To become EVERYONE'S Savior!

    Perfect in every way!

  • According to the Bible, Christ was not born on the 25th of December. Pagans celebrated the birth of the sun god on the 25th of December long before the birth of Christ. Foolishly, one of the popes mixed paganism with the birth of Christ in an attempt to "convert" pagans into Catholics. The pope figured that if the demonic festival celebrated on the 25th of December was not taken away from the pagans then his "new" religion would be easier to swallow. Xmas has NEVER been a Christian Holy day!!!

  • @texasoperastar Its not "Xmas" is CHRISTmas ! And is all about Jesus !

  • @texasoperastar actually the Bible never identifies the date of Christ's birth. However, you are correct in the statement that Christmas was a pagan celebration that was not actually on the 25th of December but on the Winter Solstice where the yule log was a part of the tradition and the every green tree was a symbol of long life.

  • @texasoperastar Also, which Bible states the 25th of December and which book(s). Thanks for your posting

  • Nice video thanks
