@dodgeballwhiz Unfortunately, it died with Kurt (and all real music).... Unfortunately, there is NO music today, so they have to run shows about sluts being as slutty as they can and then try to top themselves next time... the M in Mtv no longer stands for MUSIC, it now stands for MONEY!!!!!!!
@JoeLoro They care NOT about music. Today's teenie-boppin' crap that is peddled by music exec's in LA and NY is nothing but manufactured "music". they get someone who will look good on magazines and TV, put a band behind them, have them sing some pre-written songs, and CHA CHING!
I'm really glad the Rolling Stone put him in the top 100 greatest guitarists and but this song as a song to listen to. Nirvana is great for sure, along with this song.
1:55 Kurt gets his head up to his right vocal wedge on the suspicion it's dead, and indicates to the soundguy to check it out/turn it up. Kinda looks like it happens at kind of an inopportune time (during his guitar solo) but OH WELL IT'S ROCK N' ROLL
@Ollipytty I don't care what Rolling Stone magazine says, Nirvana was never a grunge band. Scentless Apprentice, In Utero, and all of Nirvana is straight up punk.
@FckYoCouch97 Gotta say I'd probably cum listening to them alive, makes sense.... I'm sure I'm not the only one either... Lol I'd give just about anything to see Nirvana live..
It's not there most accessable song by any means, but it's my faveourite. I almost gave up on song writing after reading the lyrics to 'scentless apprentice' My question to everybody here watching this video is how do you write such an out of the box unique song like this? No wonder Cobain has become almost god like.
Hopefully now that that the 10/31/91 Paramount show has been officially released for the 20th anniversary of Nevermind, for the 20th anniversary of In Utero they will release this whole show.
@restman22 This song has frustrated me for the past 3 months, because I cannot play it on drums and it's one of my favourite nirvana songs, I just can't get my foot up to speed
@SynthHappens I never called the music of a band Alternative. i.e radio stations or video shows that played Alternative, College Music, Post Punk whatever and that kicked the fucking shit out of dunderheaded METAL mentality ...merely stating a term to describe a set of bands and music of a certain era as opposed to METAL which Nirvana wasn't. BTW I was and still am that person that loved the bands and music of that time more than you and the elitist exclusive "we hate people like you".
@PedroJunRodrigues Most poetic and just so raw....I wish they had released the original version they mixed instead of the remixed version the label wanted....
@PedroJunRodrigues I know this is a crime punishable by death in some states, but I haven't heard the whole album. Though I've heard at least half of it and I can say that I agree
@inci0078, I think Dumb, HSB, this one, Milk It, and all apologies are their greatest songs, but as an album, Nevermind had more cohesion. I actually enjoy In Utero better because the music is WAYYY more powerful and the writing isn't direct and doing all the point-making. but, as a unit it isn't as strong. still, one of the few albums I like missing.

@spudyoulikeinit The song was written based on a book called, "Perfume-Story of a Murderer." Author is Patrick Suskind if you want to look it up.
