  • everyone want to eat you. sums up the life actually.

  • Obviously it's God's nobel work.

  • I, for one, welcome our new cuttlefish overlords.

  • Dude, cuttlefish are freakin' BOSS.

  • I think a problem when studying the eyesight of other creatures is that we assume they see the same things as humans which is ridiculous since we only such a small selection of the light spectrum when its been proven that other animals can see more such as pidgeons being able to see magnetic waves and use them for navigation. Quite simply the cuttlefish most likely can see in a spectrum we can't so it's hard to work out exactly what. Still VERY clever stuff though.

  • that is so cool

  • some of the guys in my job are cuttlefish, i cant find them anywhere the lazy sods!

  • What!! how can they not perceive color?! doesn't the striping show that they can? hmmm...

  • @josselyn17 Not necessarily. The stripes were black and white. They're just shades, so one doesn't need the ability to perceive color to see the pattern and match it.

  • @josselyn17

Doesn't have to be color, they may be judging gradients or shades of an object, and the lighting.

  • ROFL... What do mean thet can't sense color!!!!!!

  • Great educational piece.
