The problem with the bailouts was that people weren't willing to take short term pain for long term gain. If they'd let the banks fail America would have sucked for years, but would emerge with a repaired system!

I say voting for Obama in 2012 is like having another bailout. It helps in the short term, but in the long term it tells democrats that they can abuse detainees, pass massive tax cuts for the rich, and ignore the left - with no consequences.

They might have to lose to learn.

I honestly think this coming election everyone should vote independent...for Ron Paul, or Kuchinich, Nader, I don't know, just whomever else is running. Just don't vote Obama, or for your standard conservative.

That may result in Obama losing and say, Mitt Romney becoming president. But you know what? That's just tough.

I say the left wing voters need to teach the democratic party a lesson. There's no other way to tell them they can't act like republicans.
