When I visited Rome this summer, I walked into the Vatican with an Ezio T-Shirt and the security guard at the metal detector pulled me away from the line brought me to another guard and then pointed my shirt and said "Assassin's Creed!!" with a big smile. That made my day. So yes, I'm sure the pope plays video games.
