Omg I can't believe I found them. I 'wasn't' a big YouTube person until I found my old loves, Hoodoo Gurus, Replacements, Lone Justice, you know...the music of the other 80's...lol. Well I guess what I'm tryin to say is THE HOODOO GURUS turned me into a YouTube regular! How I STILL LOVE THEM & love listening to all their songs. I want you back was just one of so many fav's. Thanks YouTube!
@DrummerGrrrl He's seriously the fugliest dude in the band. . . and he's the lead singer. He couldn't help it, poor soul, and he does have the talent. I'd just bet they'd have gotten more of their due with a prettier singer guy. It is cool that they got as much success as they did. . . and you know it HAD to be the quality of the music itself.

I know what twats record company execs can be, so I wouldn't put it past them, but from when I owned "Stoneage Romeros" (GREAT CD, by the way), I'd swear this song was longer.
You probably are high, and probably are losing your mind ;-), but you're not remembering the song wrong--they did cut the second verse, which is unfortunate, because the third verse makes no sense without it:
