Hmmm... I am not a hater but I just have a few questions

1. The reason for the open base?

2. Shadow Shaman's healing is better as a 2nd hero?

2. I like the SS healing to not lose gold on units early game thus have larger army for the first attack on me/against them

3. No real reason other than the whole game wasn't planned out. I left the game shortly after the video ended. I was just focusing on creeping at this point

sif shadow fighter? i usually get bladesman and then that majic guy who can summon dogs as my only two hero's, bladesman can get some really fast experience right off the bat and i love it for its raw power and attack speed, th emajic guy is also a good starter because it can summon dogs to get some fast experience aswell.. pleassseeee reply with your reasonigs behind using shadow fighter because tbh i havnt used it much b4

@sertic1 I got him to keep the other units alive so your loss on gold while creeping is low and keep all units high health for when you attack or get attacked. Many people apparently feel this is not a good idea because he is a support hero so early game you are more vulnerable to a strong offensive hero attack by your opponent. This is just a strategy I was using that worked for me.

@sertic1 BM is primary an offensive unit... with/ bloodlust is insane... with heals makes him tank... windwalk him into the middle of the opposing army and cast lightening shield... ouch... my problem with his ability to do damage with the BM vs humans with AM is that he can't catch the AM to do the damage so he also can't level up because AM is wiping out my peons with Blizzard... with SH i can hex him which cancles bizz and beat him up with grunts so he's forced to leave my base alone...

i see that humans always win though they are boring, i made an army of Dwarf hero, 6 spellbreakers, 4 griphons, 4 dragonhawks, 2 healers, 2 sorcs, 6 knights or so....i made all follow my hero and when opposing army comes, i select my hawks to bind flyiers, knights, sorcs and healers do what they wanna, spells and hero kill opp. hero, easy kill to the army with 1/3 loss by me MAX! then i take a new hero with dwarf and woalla-2 lvls per fight! 1 vs 1 it's harder though, i make 2 soldiers and dwarf

Okay, I'm about to be totally flamed, but I cannot play this game unless it's in the story mode. I can't beat even one computer of Easy. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I just can't win! I prefer Orcs, but I'm better with Undead really. I usually try to play all Offense, but I end up on Defense the entire game and still get my ass handed to me. Help me!

@gravisamurai89 You have to know counter units and have decent macro and micro. If you go into a game playing like it's campaign you won't get anywhere. Start off getting a good eco and pump out a few offensive units to go creep with (with your hero of course) then go level your hero. While you're doing that you have to make sure you don't ignore your base, keep getting more unit production and eco. Do some research, watch some videos, then go practice, you'll get it.

@gravisamurai89 The key to Warcraft 3 is: Early Hero planning (getting him to high lvl as quickly as possible) and knowing armor/attack types. Which units to use against the units youre facing. Thats basically the most important thing, after you master that, you decide on what is the fastest build for you. Im mostly a human player, with Archmage, and footmen/rifleman with a few sorcs/priests. Medium oponent falls in about 35 minutes on a 2x2 (4) size map as long as I dont let him expand.

@SolidShinoda My army is almost always the same, although I do dabble in all the heroes to find which ones work best. The build is (for Orcs): 2 Shaman, 2 Witch Doctors, 1 Kodo Beast, 1 Hero, 2 Tauren, and the rest Grunts. If I'm going against Air units, I replace the Tauren with Raiders and the Grunts with Headhunters. I also have a secondary squad of Wyverns to deal with Air units if they show up, and another squad of Raiders for buildings. How should I fix it?

@gravisamurai89 Its a nice build, but you gotta watch out for two things. If youre against humans, you will have to protect your spellcasters from spellbreakers, and dont let the sorcs slow your tauren. If you can round their hero or one of them if he has more than one, tauren are the best units for trapping heroes and when theyre slowed they lose this ability. Most short games (1vs1) and so are based on wyverns really, so just mass wyverns with their upgrades.

@gravisamurai89 Also, you should note that the computer AI always builds a "balanced" army. They have a little bit of everything, so massing one type isnt always effective. It depends on the race however, massing wyverns against humans and night elves is nice, against undead you should try to get raiders backup, to ensnare gargoyles/wyrms and also to kill the crypt fiends that will web your wyverns. Most of the time, killing gargoyles only requires a lvl 5+ Chieftain with lightning orb.

and just keep doing it and build up your arm and send them to the BM btw windwalk away and make sure the BM lives

@gravisamurai89 All you need to do to fix that problem, look up commentary of high level WC games. You will learn so much in so little time. All I did was watch HuskySC and HDSC on here, Youtube, and I learned enough to play in masters pretty quick. :p

I've been playing warcraft 3 for a while now, basically since it came out and ive beaten the reign of chaos campaign on hard and i'm almost done with the frozen throne. I was at the part labeled "The Dark Lady" when i got bored. Anyways, now I play a few custom games here and there and have perfected strategies with every race but a good strategy with orcs just eludes me. Orcs always put up the biggest fights against me and I have no idea how to play as them.

One of the most annoying strategys is the strategy where you build like 50 watch towers by the opponents area thing *Havent played in a while* so they are trapped.

I never said it's not good, I only said he should've made it near hes mine. A burrow in front of the base is pointless if the enemy can avoid it and slay ya mine peons:) positioning it at a mine is very effective against "mine-peasant" rushes such as archmages blizzard or BM :) burrow is good...but has to be inside not outside the base:)

If you don't have the right units to counter their units and you can't micro your units effectively you will lose. For example. Start up a game against an insane computer, and only build head hunters (so you can attack air as well). I guarantee you no matter how many head hunters you build, you will lose against that computer

what i like to do if i choose sh first, is to harass the enemy right away with his summoned firesnakes or whatever they're called :D that's extremely effective cause you can summon one after another very quickly and they do a decent damage...to have your harass even better you can build 1-2 burrows there, the first one with your scout-peon...it's sort of a burrowrush combined with a sh-harass
