McGoohan, who would have made a pretty good Bond, was no match for Sean Connery, who exuded a menacing presence which was perfect for the role. Bond had a License to Kill, so he had to be somebody who gave you the impression that he could be very violent. For once, they got it right.....

I think that you right. I knew that one episode of "Danger Man" was set in Portmeiron, but I never could find out which one.

I'm pretty sure the location for the village is the same as the one used in the Prisoner, Portmeirion.
