  • So was he a cop or an intelligence operative? McGoohan was considered for the role of James Bond at this time. So was Roger Moore. Moore wound up as "The Saint", probably his best character. McGoohan, who would have made a pretty good Bond, was no match for Sean Connery, who exuded a menacing presence which was perfect for the role. Bond had a License to Kill, so he had to be somebody who gave you the impression that he could be very violent. For once, they got it right.....

  • I fournd this by accident. This show is way before my time but I enjoyed it a lot.

Thank for introducing me to this.

  • I think that you right. I knew that one episode of "Danger Man" was set in Portmeiron, but I never could find out which one.

  • @grahamsmith1907 Having been there, I can verify that this is Portmeirion.

  • I'm pretty sure the location for the village is the same as the one used in the Prisoner, Portmeirion.

  • @TardisType30 Yes, be seeing you!
