i sat in front of the tv that night waiting for his acceptance speech so he would give Static his props, but i was left in disbelief. At the time, I was a fan of Playa, not lil Wayne. Even though Wayne went on to be huge to some, this was definitely the song that brought him out of the shadows. look im from louisville n i still can't believe Static's gone. he woulda won awards for Suppertime. that was planned to come out. Louisville has plenty of talent that never gets recognized, Lollipop really brought his career to another level as far as popularity. people never knew all the hits he wrote until after he died. what we needa do is be sure that we promote Suppertime and be sure that sells for the memory of Static.
