But you just gotta learn to see Jesus all around you, and how He will help us through all of our problems. It took me a while to finally be able to say, "You know what, I don't really have to worry about this, it's outside of my control, and God will help me through it." I hope that can help you!

If you think that then your not listening for what the songs really are. Calling Red a "christian" artist is like calling Disturbed a "Multiple religion" artist. Call the artist for what it is. @plugthemike, Nobody has fights with the devil, kid. Maybe finding "god" but any "struggle" with the devil is actually a struggle with your own thoughts and the things other people do. And a fun test you could do when your mentally older is trying to prove the devil is real. If it effects physical things then there is a way to test if the originator of an effect is real. The meaning of these albums can mean a lot of things but I do not think that it is of faith and god.

@Cinehancer To be straight forward with you I am christian but I'm interested in the bible as a historical and archaeological reference and not just a spiritual tool.To answer your question the reason Christ was sacrificed is because sacrifice was not a uncommon practice in the old Jewish and roman laws. By turning Christ into a sacrifice the early Christians of that time had a way to explain why the messiah had been crucified, how the key difference is that he was resurrected and is still alive

@Cinehancer God is perfect. meaning that he can't be around sin no matter how much he loves us, that's the whole point in Jesus. He took the penalty for our sins which is death, so now when you believe you can be with God when you die. People go to hell because it's their punishment for denying God and never accepting what Jesus did for them.
