what i like to do when i get up onto the crane in one of the new maps is become the support unit with the scoped/laser sighted machine gun and sit there puting down oppressive fire all over the map and the only place to hide is in or between buildings which with the help of a few morter rounds is no longer a problem :)

ye in bfbc when i jumped from that crane i fell A LOT faster than what i thought i would. In battlefield 2 you could jump and hold down E and if you landed on a car you would immediately go inside it and not die. i tried that from the crane with a tank, but i went KERSPLATLOL and someone in mic laughed at me but it was lol :D

the highest point in the game is in the campaign it is the monastary after you rescue your friends. when the game tells you to get out of there DONT. turn arou nd and climb to the top of the tower behind you at the top you will receive the achievment

I guess being that high, you can potentially dodge incoming ordnance by running to the other end of the crane. Would take a chopper to really hammer you. A tank couldnt get the elevation unless far enough away, that gives time to watch the round come in.
