Do you guys plan to do any tutorials on how to use Backtrack to trouble shoot Windows. Delete viruses, spyware, disable/enable startup items, system restore etc. Is this possible ?

I have Winternals which can do some of these tasks but I would prefer to use Backtrack if possible.

dude...backtrack is a variant of linux...nothing to do with windows at all, at best it can emulate windows programs, but I dont know if it even does that. backtrack was not designed to troubleshoot your computer, it was designed for people like this to go to airports and hack wifi

Backtrack can trouble shoot Windows problems as many Linux distros can if the correct apps are installed.

You said Backtrack was designed to hack wifi, you would be more accurate if you were to say that BT is a comprehensive security suite designed to highlight security issues regardless of operating system it is used to audit.

BT4 is Debian based - there will be more apps available for it that allows Windows trouble shooting.

you can also you use unetbootin for creating a usb linux flashdrive distro , it will download the disturbution for you and then create the nessary conversion and boot for the usb , also lets you create other disturbutions usb flashdisks (opensuse,ubuntu,slak , etc) , also has options for boot ,

If anybodys wondering how, download a program like PowerISO, then open the ISO with it. Then click "Burn" and shove one of those shiny flat donuts into your slidey computer tray, and that should be it. Then just put the CD into your drive, turn your PC off and on again and voila, you have a scary text box with flashy writing to play with :)
