Depending on the size you start recognising a wrestler as a 'giant', the greatest ever could be a very contentious issue. The WWE recognises the Undertaker as the greatest big man ever. Hell, Taker can possibly the best ever. He has an impressive array of moves, he sells well, and he is a massive fan favourite, and a great athlete. However, at near 7 ft, 300 pounds, I don't see him as a 'giant'. If we go past 500 lbs, I would say best ever is Big Show or Andre the Giant. What says you guys?

Jesus christ what where WCW thinking. They made haystacks look weak in that match when in fact its documentated haystacks was as tough as nails. That match should of lasted for at least 20 minutes.

Haystacks wrestled under many pseudonyms including Luke McMaster Goliath and the Loch Ness Monster although his real name was Martin Ruane. In 1996 Ted Turner's WCW signed Haystacks to an extended contract where it was intended he would eventually become Hulk Hogans tag partner. However during a trip home he collapsed and was rushed to hospital where he was diagnosed with cancer. Despite intensive chemotherapy this genial man,so different from his ring persona, passed away in 1998 aged just 52

Giant Haystacks "Lochness" could really move around in the ring for a big man back in the early 80's when he was a top star in the UK. This match was at the end of his career.
