  • sick ass vids man, hope to see more from u in the near future

  • no gloves.. xd

  • good to see you're wearing full gear................pffftt

  • HRBT! lol

  • Dude my bike is in the shop at the moment so I'm craving good vids haha thankyouuu plus this is the way I ride:D except I have a suit lol and a gsxr750(:

  • Subbed

  • This looks likes the hrbt in norfolk VA is it?

  • @yurlame757 good eye, but this is def mexico ;)

  • @YZFbillyFTP have you had some experience with less powerful bikes?i am afraid that i will get in trouble if i start with an r1 :)

  • @buxaxaxa1 yea i had an 06 r6 for 2 years before the r1, and im glad i started on a 600 and moved up

  • @YZFbillyFTP so you think it would be a struggle to start with an r1...can you pls give me some advice coz i never had a bike before :) and i want to get one :)

  • @buxaxaxa1 Def stick with the r6 or whatever brand u like until you can trust your self and ride the hell outta the 600 before movin up especially since this will be your first bike its crazy how fast these things are if u have never ridden

  • @buxaxaxa1 dude, scuter first.. if you take r1 make sure to bring camera onboard, it will be nice watching you get killed..

  • @joemrda84 xaxa if i die how could i upload the footage? :))) anyway i think the r6 would be a nice start

  • @joemrda84 first, i don't want you to end up dead, of course, don't take me wrong.. if you never drive a bike you should start with something small..

  • @buxaxaxa1- always start from the lowest cc dude like 200cc, get hang of it then move up. goodluck bud

  • @yurlame757 i said the same thing

  • no jacket no gloves... u will get a lot of pain.. just safe rides

  • é legal aii no estados unidos?

  • One more qustion about bikes. I came back to you becasue you've given great first hand information. Have you ever had a problem with other drivers not being able to see you on the road? My parents arent worried about the power of a bike or that I could wreck, they're afraid of the other drivers colliding with me. COuld you shed some light on this?

  • @sox288 yea ive had some close calls with my traffic runs, and just when im riding normal people always cut me off or cut out in front of me cause they dont look so u just have to go out knowing that no one is looking for u and u need to def pay attention to these idiots. i have kicked a couple doors and fenders cause of how close they will get to hitting me

  • @YZFbillyFTP Damn. Talk about being a defensive driver huh. Anything else I should know before putting myself into the riding world? BTW you've been a great help sharing you're experience of riding.

  • @sox288 drive like everyone is out to kill you.. be aware of this and you re quite sure .. but dont tell your parents.. they wont let you on the bike ever ..

if you are faster than others , nothing should happen , that means , recognizing , analysing, reacting. not just speed...

  • @Highsider030 Thanks for all the advice guys, also @YZFbillyFTP for all the great advice. I wanted to ensure that I didn't just go and buy a bike and end up as another statistic splattered on the highway. I'm only 16 but I like to educate myself about things before I get myself into it. Thanks again and happy youtubing!

  • @sox288 no problem dude , ride safely

  • that was sweet xD

  • Sorry this doesn't really relate to the video, but how is the wear and tear on bikes? In other words how many miles could I get out of one?

  • @sox288 if u watch my videos u will notice that i dog the shit out of them, i had an r6 for 2 years while i was learning how to ride and rode 11000 miles and sold it at 24000 miles with no problems with it at all, and i bought the R1 with 3300 miles and have over 12000 miles ridden much harder than the r6 and dont plan on slowin down. they r built for the race track from the factory and as long as you change the oil and maintain the bike like it should be it will last as long as you will lol.

  • @YZFbillyFTP Thanks a bunch man. That's exactly what I wanted to know! It's great to know that when I do get one, it will be a good investment. I have a 2001 dodge dakota with 130,000 and she runs fine and still throws back back in the seat, so yeah I'd say I take care of my stuff. Thnaks again for the info, Zach

  • @YZFbillyFTP i really shouldn't be telling you this because i have no right to, but you should really consider buying some gear. if you bail one of those on the interstate wearing your red t-shirt and (presumably) jeans and street shoes, you will not be able to walk away from that, especially at what was it? 145 mph?

  • @sox288 i ride with a couple people one with a cbr900 with 49000 miles and r6 with 46000 miles with no probs at all, so all im sayin is take care of your shit and it will take care of you haha, i hope this helps

  • Is that Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel?

  • ahaha I think that dude in the car realized your on an R1, and thought oh shit I can't keep up with that thing, lol.

Get a full race titanium Akrapovic system billy, you 'll notice a power increase instantly, mine now wildly lifts in 1st, 2nd, and comes up a little in 3rd ..... no clutch

  • @MetlHead37 haha yea, i have the midpipe and the slipons are basically straight through, just need the header and a tune but i weigh 240 so she doesnt wheelie as easily with that extra weight lol let me know if anyone has just the akraprovic header cause im gonna have to buy the whole system just for the header

  • speed safe!

  • Do you find the bike is significantly "stinkier" without the cat? And, has the elimination of the cat made the bike more comfortable to ride in hot weather. My buddy ordered the mid pipe and will receive it in a couple of months. He is also considering an ECU reflash to open the throttle bodies past 60%. He wants more power. Sorry for questions unrelated to vid.

  • Oh s**t. Just realized you're on an '07! Duh.

  • @MrKamechan haha

  • @MrKamechan def didnt notice a smell difference, and was noticeably cooler on my ass lol. also didnt know they had a reflash for it

  • @MrKamechan ill also run cam2 (110 octane) sometimes mainly cause it smells amazing didnt notice any more power from it but you cant have a cat to put it in your bike

  • think you need a jacket and some gloves dude, a spill could be disastrous in a Tee

  • what exhaust do you have on your bike ?

  • @k0pix stock header, ackraprovic y-pipe cat delete, and toce slipons

  • T-shirt & no gloves hitting a buck 45.....ballsy ;)

    Cool tunnel.

    Speed safe.

  • @Shogun09R1 thanks dude
