Update, not all of the enterprises have a tilted saucer. If it's not too much trouble for you I suggest you ask the store employees to assist you in examinging all of them because I did that just now at my local store and all but one were in in slightly bad to very bad shape. One ship's secondary hull hadn't even been glued the rest with tilted saucers were glued on wrong.
I'll buy the Enterprise but if I open it and the saucer is tilted like it is in this video, I will bring it back and complain. I've had to put up with that on my larger scale models, I don't need it on this.
"Why don't the ships plug onto the tree anymore! I want the ship to stay on! Not just for a few seconds!"
I've been wondering the same thing over the past few years. My wife & I have come to the conclusion that since there are hundreds of different versions of Xmas tree lights nowadays, & the advent of LED lights, the plug in portion of those little light sockets are ever changing, however small. I've found, over the years, it getting harder to plug in my older Trek ornaments.
I've bought Trek ship ornaments regularly, but will be passing on that JJ Uglyprize for sure! Ugh. It is such a distoration and characature of the classic ship, not unlike the film it is from.
I should change my name to Piper Pilot. LOL I soloed in an Warrior back in 1987.
Anyhow, I'm a big fan of the Star Trek / Hallmark ornaments, too. I've been collecting since the first one. I've even passed on a few of them {the glass blown Worf head, Capt pike in wheelchair} but the ships have always been great.
It looks like they did a good job on this one {as far as I can see}.
The only thing is that I HATE this re-designed Enterprise !
Why do people always bring their cameras so close to the objects they're taping, like it's a freaking microscope ?
Other than that gripe....they all look pretty good but I'll have to checked out their pictures in their catalog or just check them out in person in July.

Whoever designed the mold fro the 2010 Enterprise ornament really screwed up. the freaking starboard nacelle sits lower than the port nacelle.
