Would the filters on this be good enough to stop Asbestos? Im going to be clearing out an old school building that had asbestos paint, insulation, and almost everything with asbestos in it. The filters on this should be good for this, right?

Guys those white particles, or better said white powder, is most probably some chemical used to preserve the rubber. Mine was coverd with it and it was still in originall package directly bought from czech army. Can't say for sure though.

lol guys who think it has asbestos, it uses activated charcoal. the last asbestos filters were made in early 1950s. so it is perfectly safe

the only downfall to foreign gas masks is the filters arent as common. 40mm are way more common to find and that could come in handy in a SHTF situation

@spazlolramma Gas mask filters wont have asbestos unless they are about 60 years old, they stopped using asbestos and switched to charcoal which is entirely safe.

@DaWolfsOnCrAcK no,they don't,I own one of these,and as long as you adjust it tight (not 2 much) lenses will never fog,since there's no hot air on the lenses area,all hot air is expulsed through the mask.

@DaWolfsOnCrAcK dude,you said you will use it 4 airsoft? well the mask isn't to protective against impact(excluding the lens which are very strong),I suggest you put a layer of foam between the mask and your face.(DUDE DON'T PUT PLASTIC,I DON'T WANT YOU TO DIE),or any other absorbing material. a piece of towel will keep you,r face dry to,if you are a heavy sweater. oh and have fun! I,m not annoying,but when you ask in a video the author or anyone replies,so,I do.

I think this mask is perfect for airsoft if you want a gas mask for airsoft. It doesn't look as cool as like the M95, but it's still pretty cool.
