Hi! Thanks so much for making this video. I have a skein of pom pom yarn that's been frustrating me for years because I didn't know how to deal with it.
Thanks soooooooooo much, Mikey!!! I recently purchased yarn with an elongated looking " hot dog shaped poms" with the twisted thread between each pom. It was on sale at AC Moore for $6.99 a pound. I really liked it, yet I had no clue how to work with it and today I received a "Video update" from your site on how to work with Pom Pom yarn. How great is that!!! Thanks again and may you always be blessed.
really great introduction and explanation. simple and to the point with helpful tips. Thanks so much! now i am not intimidated to buy a pom pom skein.
Could have used this vid two months ago. Have to say casting off is the hard part. Only learned to knit a bit over 2 months ago and looking for how to cast off this yarn is what led me to your youtube page!
I invented my own cast on method (at the time), it knits sooo easily for a beginner (no tension issues because of the spacing). But cast off! Ugh! Easy once you know (off course) but at the time, despair!
I'm new to knitting and crocheting so i was wondering how you actually got this started? Looks soft and wonderful :) im expecting my first baby so i wanted to make some special cozy blankets for him :) thanks!!
Where do you get those knitting needles??

Thank you for recommending using another yarn to cast on! I already have 6" knit, and will finish in time to give it to my mother for her birthday.
