I can cook just about anything buy I have yet to perfect cooking steaks. I will try your methods. I think the "not cooking the steak cold" was a really good tip. Maybe that was my problem..I'll let you know....thanks for sharing..cause real divas DO cook!
One of the most important steps you forgot to mention is to tent the steak in a foil pocket and letting the meat rest. It allows the juices to circulate throughout the meat and it makes it more juicy, and the perfect temperature to eat w/o burning yourself. That makes a BIG difference in the steak I promise!!!! Luv ya!
@derekandkeyasha01 omg I use to be sooooo scared to cook steak. I don't know why it intimated me but it did (as well as fried chicken lol) It can be cooked so many ways. Sometimes I just throw it on the foreman and call it a day.
You are so right about letting the meat get to room temp before cooking it so it doesn't get tough. I learned that from my grandmother years and years ago. She also would let the meat sit for about 20 min. or so AFTER cooking to let it get even more tender. YUM!
@indigolady52 _now see I thought the longer it sit AFTER cooking the more tough it would become. I always try to eat mine straight out the pot while its still moist
