Jeg onske alt bra for Therese i hennes competition i fortid! Hilsen from Nynorskland i Minnesota!!!
her world champion run and today's victory were incredible. It's a delight to see her running, it looks like she could flight away any second. :) And she's such a cutey.
Therese Johaug: - I have been very clever, but still not good enough. I have simply not been able to eat enough in the hardest periods. It's massive amounts of food going down and sometimes I must admit that I have been a little tired and did not get enough food.
Therese Johaug: - I've increased the amount of training a lot before this season. Last year I was on 70 hours a month. I increased to 90-100 hours before this season. That, and that the body becomes stonger and get trained through increased muscle mass, makes the combustion increases.
According to team doctor the girls need about 4000 calories a day. There are over twice as much as a normal person. She admits it is a challenge for athletes to get enough and proper food.
Therese Johaug has lost weight, but the cross-country reject that she has eating problems.
Therese Johaug: - It is true that I am a bit lighter than last winter. But it has its natural explanations, and has absolutely nothing to do with eating problems.
