i had an outlaw 525 i used for some cross country stuff in Pennsylvania and southern NY..i had a little accident with that and the insurance totaled it out.know i have a predator 500 and i just had my transmission go on a hill climb.bad thing is it wasn't even a big hill,it just had a lip and when i hit the tires locked up and i went for a ride....frame is broke,shock is broke,plastic is trashed,and of course the trans gears are gone..but it still runs though!!!!ONLY GOT SECOND GEAR??

im sure you've riddin a 250 2stroke. how would you compare the power of a 250 to your bike? i own an 03 cr250. im realllllly thinkin bout getting a cr500.

A 500 sounds good sounds good to most people who love the power of two strokes BUT the 500's go from slip too grip fast... which makes them prone to looping which makes them bad for trails. they are too heavy and not balanced for jumps compared to the new 450's...in sand and on coal hills the 500's are great!

that actually sounds like the bike for me. my 250 spins alot more than i want it to on pretty much every surface. not much on the road. but i can get it to. im thinkin we should just trade :)

yeah definitly. I blew my buddies old Husqvarna 550 right off the trails with a YZ450. 500+ CC is just too big a bike for tight trail riding.

What year is that, it looks like my 98' - white brothers suspension, gnarly pipe. Sure sounds nice. mad props on that bike those things are the closest you can get to riding a missile. I want to put a 48" extended swingarm on mine hehe.
