I was at an airshow where they droped one of those wall-o-fire deals. That was the BEST part of the whole show. I could feel the heat and the shock wave, and a glass broke as well.

@zombieX111222333 The A-10 did not fire its primary GAU-8 weapon; If it did, you would see a plume of smoke around the nose of the aircraft, then a loud series of cracks, thuds and explosions, and then finally the roar of the actual gun itself. This is not a live-fire exercise. It consisted of low energy explosives to create the explosions on the ground. Which brings me to my next point - The smoke from the explosions was black, a sign that the explosive was petroleum-based. Sorry, fail.

@zombieX111222333 He's right, at most airshows, they just use some low explosives (Or high explosives depending on the range from the airport) to simulate that. Happens all the time, the A-10 did most definitely NOT fire.

The bombs were definitely simulated, but you can get authorisation to do live strafing runs at airshows.
