Wilcannia is a great town and the locals are great. Driving through a town without getting to know anyone doesnt mean you can prejudge people. If you stopped the bus and sat down in the grass with the locals you would have found them to be very helpful people and nice to talk to, even though a bit rough arounf the edges. Thats how us bush people are though.
