you guys keep bashing the drill, and yes there is a small hangover during the fanfare, but I ask you this....Find another college D-1 band that has the talent, and much less the balls to attempt that arrangement along with that drill.
Don't get me wrong, UGA is good,very good . I know alot of people who played in the redcoats, but they can't match the volume or quality of sound that Troy produces
Tuba1919 stop being the voice of Troy. Collage marching band IS a big deal. Thendrix26 is talking about the Fanfare that Troy opens every show with. Thendrix, it's called tradition and it's one of the finest in all of collage marching band. As for the out of tune comment your just wrong. There are few bands in the nation whos sound compares to that of Troys. All though I will admit the drill is sloppy.

Why are you worried about it? It's not the same opener every year so what is that statement about? By the way, it's just college marching band so what's the big deal?
