Any airline that tells the losers to show some decorum and manners or get off--and then enforces it--gets my business! People can restrain themselves for 2-3 hours, it's not gonna kill them. the runway is only about 5000' long. Thats why takeoffs at SNA are done at full throttle and the approach is so low.

Take off at SNA is an "E Ticket" ride for noise abatement over Newport Beach. The drill is hard and steep up and then quickly cut the throttle back. I don't know but I think that the approach is low because that's where the ground is, down low. :-)

great, how was southwest? You know, everyone is saying southwest is very cheap and inexpensive and decent. But i am looking to travel to Washington DC from Los angeles or santa ana, anyone of them, and it seems the most expensive is Midwest Airlines, and the second most expensive is southwest. US Airways and United, and American are the cheapest.

southwest has always been my fav airline. not just because of the prices but also on how nice and laid back the crew is and you can always tell that they really do care about their passengers. one time i was on a delayed flight with southwest and one of the guys came out and started to talk with us, sing and all that fun stuff. i would at least say give them a try. they really are that good and i bet alot of people will agree with me. happy flying! :)

I used to work for SWA in the late 90s until l got injured on the job (ramper). There are some great people there, and we always had fun. My training was light compared to the flight attendants, God bless 'em. They were always working their butts off after after classes studying late into the night.

Southwest may be more expensive on the purchase price.. but there are no hidden fees within. If you fly US Airways and United, you have to pay for each baggage checked in, you have to pay for drinks, and you have to pay for snacks and/or meals. Southwest includes that in the price... one of the few airlines that still does that. And yes, their customer service has countlessly been voted number 1.
