I can see how the lyrics could suggest two people who went to the same school/lived in the same town, but happened to be born 13 years apart. Did the writer actually say this song's about a 21-year-old pedo, though? 'Cause I think it could also be talking about two people who meet after 13 years apart; they had a lot of similar experiences and, as children, either were interested in one another (but didn't act on their emotions) or ignored each other.

lol I've heard the first version, there's one video of it up on Youtube. I just don't really understand why so many like that version better. I like the instrumentals, lyrics, and the overall flow of this version better personally.

same reason i like it. the other version is too wordy and kind of loses me because i expect the same build up in it like in this one. This song is way better and i think quietdrive thinks so too seeing that they redid the song.
