  • But remember, Korea's statistics are inflated by a large number of Chinese medical tourists coming in groups to take advantage of group discounts. And increasingly from Japan too, as prices are somewhat lower in Korea.

  • I don't think all those photos are the same person.

  • Specifically, ISAPS stats show Korea at more than double the rate of Japan (per annum). The percent of population is more than triple (i.e. Korea has a bigger head start too). So not even close no.

  • Actually it's Korea by a huge margin. lol

  • Wow what a change, but you know what I look at pictures of me when I was in my teens and my mid-20s I look very different too. I think she got her eyes done and lost a lot of weight. Im 15 pounds thinner and it really changed the shape of my face.

  • @DancePitch P.S. If you don't like my video that's fine, so find something you like and move on ^.^

  • @DancePitch Your statements make no sense. Cosmetics is all about looks. Women in Japan don't want to be sold a music album when they're watching a cosmetics ad. I just gave you facts that demonstrated why people in Japan don't like her. In this age of the internet, it's very easy to get info on what a person is really like. Consumers today in Japan aren't the mindless lemmings they once were. They're very tech-savvy and informed, and they judge people by their character, not just their looks.

  • @kwanzalimited the internet can also give alot of false and dangerous information.you say that people in japan judge by character not by looks, so whats the deal with iconiq having surgery?...Do you know her personally?.. also you give no basis behind your facts on her personal life....maybe your the ignorant one. live a less hateful life, itll relieve some stress.

  • @aktf14 if I or any of the dozens of japanese sites out there are spreading false rumours, Iconiq's managers are welcome to threaten a lawsuit for defamation of character. I'm not sure what kind of basis you have (do YOU know her personally?) but maybe you could go to her website and inform that dozens of sites are spreading lies. If you want to believe it's all a lie despite the majority of sources out there, you're welcome to do so. just don't dismiss ppl who don't agree with you as "hateful".

  • @kwanzalimited Just because theres a whole bunch of websites spreading rumours, does it mean its true? thats why its called a rumour.Even in the news, false and biased information is given to the mass public. To the Lawsuit statement, its not as easy as 123, contrary to what you may think. No shit i dont know her personally, but neither do you. and i didnt dismiss the people who didnt agree with me as hateful, just you for trying to defame someone with such ardour.

  • @aktf14 And where is your basis for claiming that these are all false? My opinion is based on literally thousands of sites (that refer to actual stuff Iconiq admitted to the Korean media in the past). And did I ever claim to know her personally? No! You came up with that. If you think that I am hateful, I guess all those "liars" out there are too. Just google Iconiq on Google Japan and you'll get an idea of how many people are trying to "defame" her.

  • @kwanzalimited uhh your pathetic. im not even gonna even going to try to argue because you just keep twisting my words.

  • @aktf14 that's funny; I think you're pathetic for not being able to see that your arguments fail because they're weak.

  • @aktf14 the majority of consumers out there are media literate enough to NOT immediately buy into whatever the entertainment industry tries to sell us. If you would rather believe whatever glossy image the music producers want you to see than the substantially more reliable news or internet sources, that makes YOU the idiot. Please realise that what you are saying is equivalent to believing Entertainment Tonight over CNN. Iconiq herself said those things to the Korean media & surgery is obvious.

  • @DancePitch how many japanese fans do you think a person who says things like "It makes me really sad when people see me as being japanese-there's no way I'd date a japanese guy" would win over? also, most people aren't very impressed by fake beauty; it's like worshipping a mannequin for being beautiful. while ayumi hamasaki had her eyes & nose done (she got lots of criticism for overdoing her eyes btw), iconiq had major overhaul reconstruction. do you take japanese people for complete idiots?

  • @DancePitch Please. everyone who doesn't like her are just jealous? are you a tween or are you really that dumb? most people with self-esteem issues deal with them like adults and work through them with a counsellor or learn to live with them. If you take the easy way and "solve" your problems with money, the risk is that you'll be looked down on by people when they find out the truth (which can be easily found online). if you choose to become a celebrity that's the risk you take, like it or not

  • @DancePitch Some more truths that you are obviously unaware of: she boasted about borderline illegal things she did back in school, including: sending fifty pizzas to the home of a classmate she didn't like, ordering products at school and costing the school thousands of dollars and setting off the fire alarm to escape classes she didn't like (the fire dep't is required by law to show up, even if it's obviously a prank. and even if they have better things to do, like SAVING LIVES!!)

  • @DancePitch The purpose of this video is to show the truth. If you have a problem with my telling the truth, you should also take on the hundreds of sites out there that are doing the same thing. If you google "Iconiq" (on Google Japan), the top five key words that show up (in actual order) are: plastic surgery, wiki (where her past is also exposed), tokyo lady, anti-japanese comments (made by her) and 2ch (where I got these images). Too bad there's no surgery out there that changes your past.

  • the amount of her plastic surgery is not even close to most of Japanese women entertainer. seriously Japanese should get out from fantasy and get a life :D

  • KIMOI

  • She looks just like a typical Korean , who has small eyes and flat nose.

  • @hungseki You seriously need some outlet (other than racism) for your hate.

  • @hungseki

    you are a honest korean.

    you are a miracle person.

  • It's sad that she's had so much alteration done, but then again, in J-pop industry, the big female iconic singers do go through very transitive procedures. Koda Kumi doesn't look anything like her real self and definitely neither does Hamasaki Ayumi (who apparently said herself that she had nearly 28 procedures done). Amuro Namie also looks completely different, and the list can go on. So, I can't really get upset with ICONIQ, since it seems like it's a big part of the J-pop industry. Still sad.

  • @SporadicMelon It's all subjective, I guess. I agree that many J-pop stars look really different from their "before" pictures. Still, I can tell that it's the same person; especially when it's just their eyes and nose that are different (like Koda and Amuro, for example). In Iconiq's case, it looks like besides getting eyelid surgery and implant for her nose, she underwent scraping of her jawbone to drastically change the size and contour of her face (very, very bloody and painful, I've heard).

  • It also looks like she had pretty drastic eye-widening surgery done, where they actually snip into the eyelid (near the nose) to lengthen the size of the eyes. In all her earlier photos, it's difficult to tell if it's the same person as Iconiq, because the only feature that remains the same is her lips. Imagine seeing a stranger in the mirror (with a different stage name) every couple of years and none of your former classmates and distant relatives being able to recognize you. Sad.

  • She is Korean. hahaha

  • I Know She's very different now!! but, Ahyoomee is very beautifull... & I love her vocal..

  • Good for her, she was lucky enough to get great surgery.

  • @AdamKaoru I find it interesting that some people see this in a positive light. I intentionally didn't add any description because I wanted unbiased opinion; the comments show that there are many different points of view. I personally think that it's a shame that she was so unhappy with the look her parents and ancestors passed down to her. Why else would she get repeated plastic surgery to the point where her school photo looks like a complete stranger? I prefer keeping my identity; good & bad.

  • @AdamKaoru However, I have to agree that the plastic surgery done here is amazing. I've never seen such a huge difference in before/after.

  • @kwanzalimited

    One word: HeidiMontag. haha

I actually think Heidi looks beautiful and I know people will dispute that, but the tabloids just try to get ugly pictures of her to make her surgery look bad when actually it was QUITE a success.

  • @AdamKaoru Again, I find your view very unique and interesting. You'd be hard pressed to find people who view Heidi's career (or anything else) as a success, much less envy her. Here in North America, anyways. I've heard her mother was really dismayed that her young, already beautiful daughter altered her face/body to such a degree. Not to mention the health risks associated with getting multiple procedures done. Still, I think Ayumi/Iconiq's transformation is more dramatic.

  • Its OK

Every one of us knows about that!
