  • you have to be high to fully appreciate this

  • Hello, good years1980,1990, thanks, bye.

  • God!! 1991, in my bedroom, curtains drawn, listening to this. I loved it. I loved the early 90's, I could cry.

  • i,ll be your tambourine, inside your head she said..clouds of plastisine on planet love.

  • Trippy!!!! Nice video!

  • Holy fuck, SO many wonderful bands in the 90's!!!!

  • Nostalgia !! Nice Guitar !! Colin one of the nicest geezers !!

  • Mike, their bassist, is my graphics teacher now :D

  • I love the world of indie music of the 90's

  • Clouds like plasticine on planet Love...

  • Reminds me of the good old days in the late 80s and early 90s when we had the time to decide whether or not we would be going to the Glastonbury festival. We'd take a casual stroll down to Our Price records, pick up some tickets at £17.50 each & get to the festival on the wednesday where we'd have the place almost to ourselves for the day til the crowds started to arrive on the Friday and Saturday. The build up towards the weekend at a roomy Glastonbury festival is something I'll never ever 4get

  • "On planet love, love, love.." Love it. Cheers mate..

  • my dad plays in this don't no wat he plays though

  • @Mizznimpyfy Hi there :) Can you please tell your dad that this video is posted on the Facebook group called Planet Love... it's a group petitioning to change the name of Planet Earth to Planet Love :) and thank him for this really cool song, too :)

  • unfortunately can' t convert vhs into digital :-(

  • love 'em...this video reminds me of times i' ve spent recording music videos at night...still have a few videotapes from early 90s...loads of Inspirals, Belly, Lush, Happy Mondays, Stone Roses, Dylans, Lightning Seeds etc...

  • @giamburrasca Nice - Please post what you have, I'd love to see them.

  • @giamburrasca yes! I used doin' the same! Italian' "Videomusic" channel!

  • oh they were quality.. so nice..

  • Great song! I first found this on an "alternative music sampler" from HMV Records.

  • @lakesidepark2112 No way! I had that sampler too. It also had the Jesus & Mary Chain, Charlatans, Black Sheep...My bros and I bought quite a few albums based off it.

  • Clouds like plasticine on Planet Love....

  • fucking great song, needless to say....

  • I need your tambourines... ...on planet Love!

    Thank you.

  • Always loved that song I came to discover while on a Midlands campus back in 92'. And yet another gem that missed the top of the charts big time. So I never had the chance to check the Dylans live and i guess I must be one of the very few french people to know about the band. At least I have both the single and album on CD...great covers too by the way. Very fresh ;-)

  • je suis français et je connais ce groupe, j'ai le cd, et aussi le 45tours, mais tu as raison sinon, ce groupe est totalement oublié je crois :( et pourtant cette chanson est terrible!

  • Hé oui, cruauté du destin qui trie les artistes qui resteront et les autres...but maybe it's better to burn out than fade away as promoted by Neil Young and later sadly approved by Kurt Cobain :-(

tu connais la chanson "box set go" de the High?

  • Excellent CD.

  • Brilliant track

  • another underrated indie band... jeez, they should be getting more credit, their first album is very very cool!

  • does anyone know if there is a 12'' disco mix of this? thank you

  • There is, but it was never given a release. JUst a few white labels that went to about a dozen DJs.

  • i work with the guitarist from dylans!and i have one thing to say ....U ALRIGHT MATE!! ROCK ON JIM!! LOL

  • really? i used to play the drums in the dylans and havent seen jim for years. can ya say hello from gaz to him. cheers

  • his songs, his voice, have a icy cold lemonade flavour,it seems to drink an icy lemonade in a hot summer,i very like the cover of the album with the orange planet.i introduced dylans to my sister my cousins and my family, too great to stay in the dark side of music!!!

  • Me and my mates used to love The Dylans and the album was played alot back in the early 90's and we saw them live at the marquee.Seeing this brings back some great memories,Great band

  • Early 90s psychedelic/shoegaze stuff. Actually this album is a forgotten gem. She Drops Bombs is a really good song...

  • What was that instrumental one called? No coming down? I would love to hear that one again.

  • its called particle ride

  • So underated.

    Great song.

  • amazing band

  • I absolutely hate Vh1 but "90s at 9" is a goldmine, this is awsome!!!

  • This also goes to show just how much good music there is that nobody ever seems to know.

  • i could'nt agree more! i loved this song the year it came out. felt like i was probably the only one.

  • Oh my - I haven't heard this in years - I had it on a compilation CD and loved it, but I never heard it anywhere else.

  • wow great tune :D vids a bit random but cool !

  • A never seen video a for a tune that I was non stop all over again especially on the 12" planet love release...an never ending playing song

  • One of Grant Morrison's best bands... Quoted it in Doom Patrol...

  • i thought i was the ONLY person who knew this song. thank s a lot!

  • I love this song. First time seeing the video. Does anyone have the guitar chords for this song?

  • the last track on the album -indian sun was a quality tune

  • Oh Lord! I had to order it from a friend who travelled to London!

    Thanks for the video!

  • used to have this on Cassette Single...LOL!

  • God! I used to love this tune! so good to hear it again.

  • The bloke who did this video also did Suoxiee and the Banshee's stuff aswell.this is the same studio we used for a very early Godlike video that we did for channel 4's snub TV...does anybody remember that?

  • contrived indie - crap, remember this, this is in the same league as the milltown bros - pure bad.

  • Who the he;; are the milltown bros? You feckin' loser.

  • Does anyone have that song, "Grudge"?

  • lmao. my dad looks so young :C

  • Dad???

  • the pineapple at the beginning

  • yep!

  • Kandi Club 90's - I used to dance to this - rapture.....

  • The early 90s was a great time for "alternative" music, before the term became archaic and then meant sullen guys in flannel shirts.

  • I love this stuff.

    John

  • probably the mos over looked and underrated album of 1991 why wasnt this massive

  • love this tune.never heard of them before today.where are they from?

  • Sheffield, England.

  • Freakin' Rocks! DJ Java Jane of Generation 80s (& 90's) Retro Radio...
