  • I think it's sweet that the butterflies have claimed your garden as their own. And I love getting to see caterpillars, too (even though they have to eat-eat-eat -- I forgive them since they'll ultimately transform into something so beautiful). However... SNAILS!!! BEWARE, YOUR HOURS ARE NUMBERED!!! HEDGEHOG, SICK 'EM!!! Oops, it seems that hedgehog is preoccupied with conducting the orchestra. Geez, that's a extraordinarily versatile hedgehog you've got there. :-)

  • slugs and snails decimated my sunflowers on the other side of the garden but amazingly they are flowering in spite of that! hedgehog not greedy enough! but welcome all the same. i resorted to spaying the food crops though, with organic plant based deterrant. cabbage whites are plentiful and there's lots of other food out there for their offspring. we keep thinking about the snails in a garlic butter and french bread sort of way...maybe there's another harvest we could take advantage of...hmmmm..

  • glad you liked it. thanks for dropping by. :)
