  • I wonder if they offer relationship counseling too? I guess not... healthy relationships would defeat the purpose of spoofing "your man."

  • lol were can i get 1 i can prank call a shitload of ppl hahaahhahahahah

(my nextdoor neighbor will never kno)hahahha

  • isnt this illegal

    ?

  • showing someone else's number seems like a form of ID theft.

  • An individual doesn't own their phone number, the phone company does. Furthermore, it would only be illegal if you presented yourself as someone you were not, case in example, you call someones house from local police and claim to be a police officer, then you would be charged with impersonation.

  • hmmm, not true if the ID displays both first and last name, that's actually an identity. However you are right about the phone number not being owned by the person. Still seems like a grey area to me. Someone doesn't have to actually "say" they are someone, it can be done though digital signature (account pins). I think your right for the most part, but still, someone's first and last name is being displayed by someone else.

  • That's true, but i've yet to hear anyone convicted of it yet. In this case, what about cellphones?

  • Unfortunately, it usually takes a few lawsuits to fly before I think either one of us will ever know. I'll wait till then before I get one. ;-)

  • I called my attorney this morning about it with the example "if so and so called someone with a real number, is this violating the law?", he stated that the legal wording appeared to be only for defrauding (financial gain) or scams that would get a person in trouble, but for merely hiding your identity, it wouldn't fly in court. I'm going to take my attorneys word on it.

  • Cool man, thanks! I <3 internet.

  • this is awesome i used it lol

  • lol. this is getting looked into right now because services like this just make it easier for pranksters to execute their plans.soon this will be highly illegal.
