Now that I watched it again, I can't quite tell if that even is a radial engine in there... Doesn't quite sound like one. What variant of the Lee is it? I know some had different engines.
That must have been an awesome project! I helped restore an M4A3 Sherman for about two years. Sherman A3's had the Ford GAA v8's which were a dream to work with, compared to that radial you had to work with. The M3 Lee is a pretty rare piece in the armor world, compared to Shermans, and it's good to see one being brought back to life. I've always had a soft spot for the M3 Lee...something about having both the 75 and 37mm. For combat, however, i'd take an M4A3E8 sherman over any other ww2 tank.
