Although the "sensation" of trouble is at the wrist, the actual “seminal” cause is impingement of the median nerve around the pronator teres muscle (proximal to the elbow)!

Hi I am experiencing numbness on my pinky and the half of my ring finger down to my palm... What do you think is this?.. I have this for almost 1 year already.. Please help me
The pectoralis minor muscle is possible – particularly if they are worse when your arms are chest high or higher, but feel better when your hands are down.
Tight forearms are possible. Squeeze your forearm muscles – particularly within a few inches of the elbow on the little finger side (but elsewhere as well). If they are very tender, it may be from tight forearm muscles.
I'll add more info on a second reply - if youtube lets me.
@geocine Reply (part 2) Another possible cause is pinching at the vertebrae of the lower part of the neck. Try bringing your ear toward your shoulder as far as you can and hold it for 30 seconds, then do the same thing on the other side. If doing these makes it either worse or better, then that is where your problem is coming from. In that case your quickest solution may be a chiropractor.
A less likely cause is cubital tunnel syndrome. google it. This is in the elbow.
@DiscomfortFree What exercise or any advice can you give to help me recover without quitting my work as a programmer? As a programmer I definitely bend my elbows for hours while using the keyboard. Although my right hand is not affected I am concerned of the prolonged effects this could give me. Thank you.
i found in some bodybuilding magazines that my tendonitis can be cured with exercise like the ones u describe and also fish oils...ur funny at ur explination i like ur videos:) i have tendinitis in my right forearm sux!!!
I was having anxiety and on the computer( I am right handed ) and my two fingers, ring and pinky ) went numb on me. It actually comes and goes out of my ring finger( mostly goes ), but in my pinky it pretty much stays. Also when it does get a little better, when going into a shower, it starts back up again. Im not old and I take warm showers if that helps. Its been like this for about two weeks. IDK, u have any guesses?
thank you now my hand hurts less and i learned important things

My thumbs and index fingers have been numb for weeks. I think it's from pinched nerves in my neck.
Sometimes my entire upper arms feel slightly numb.
