  • Looks like you might have a bottleneck somewhere, what cpu do you have? and how much ram?

  • this test was done 8 months ago on vista etc.... core i7 920 & 6gb corsair dominator 1800 ram

  • retarded. I have one 295 and it plays crysis flawlessly at max settings. Anyone who bought two 295s is retarded for many reasons. 1. WTF r u gonna use two 295s for? 2. Crysis and GTA IV are the only two games that might use this much power, though one 295 is still more than adaquate. 3. No DX11 hardware supposrt which means no hardware tessolation. (its not for developers dumb ass, it makes it so developers dont have to spend their lives making polygons, DX11 video cards can do it for them)

  • Hardware tessolation is only a "non feature" if you dont care that when you play DX11 games on your DX10 cards, you wont be able to see the massively increased gemoetry detail. Ur past comment that hardware tessolation is only for developers really shows that you dont what what the fuck ur talking about.

  • omg guy go take a chill pill and calm down or maybe u just like to rant on youtube because you have no life either way calm down before you comment or go moan to ya mum.

  • here are some reason why you might want two 295s:

    1. if you wanna run a 4 display set up

    2. if you wanna run games on a huge display at high resolutions.

    3. if you do video, audio, and 3d rendering.

    4. if you are a computer enthusiast and just wanna see benchmarks and shit.

  • well put m8 and some people jus like the best of the best at the time hey.

  • Exactly. People just hate for things they don't have. The usual BS.

  • how did you get windows 7 ?

if you cracked it, pls tell me how :)

  • am now running windows 7 have been for over month or so now s true everything runs smoother

  • this has just convinced me to install my windows 7.

  • just a few but if u serious jus pause on fps screen at end ( jus incase a serious Question) bad thing about crysis is if select 1920*1080 then restricted to 24 hz refresh rate which unplayable so stuck to 1680 1050 sadly every thing else i play i play @ 1920 * 1080

  • i like extreme

  • thos are Very nice FPS

  • init just!! THX

  • Btw, read up on Antialiasing, and understand the difference between the different kinds, and different options you'll see in your Nv control panel. Because one style at 16x will hardly come close to another, say MSAA at 8x.

Never have I used higher than 8x in any actual game, keep this in mind. In the video he's trying to enabled the most difficult settings to run, that's all. 8xmsaa looks perfect if a game even supports it, and it is = to 16x other AA's.

Respond, post twice if need be.

  • nice to see someone that actually knows what they are taking about on youtube and yes is possible to overclock without voiding warranty's the MAIN Known way is just to change your cpu multiplier or obviously you could overclock the usual way and reset to factory defualts after but if they ran diagnostics on cpu it would show up but if you ran at 3.4 oc for example it would not burn out and last over 3 years and as intel give 3 yr warranty and company u bought from prob give you 1 year warranty

  • then my opinion would be to overclock but every1 is different but if just for gaming then you have no need to overclock only needs doing for benchmark killing as i have prooven with a 37,000 vantage score on a 4.3ghz overclock and 10% overclock on grafix card id need LN2 cooling to break world records tho and i aint doing that lol. good luck

  • If you want to OC, you can without voiding your warranty, you'll need the know how tho. Not judging your ability but you didn't "build" so I have that ? in the back of my head.

I mean, are you out to crush 3dmark scores or just have a blast with gaming? If you're just a hardcore gamer, there's no need to OC, maybe in two years when games get even more demanding, but if your system runs like mine, (like it should), you should be stomping any game out there, even Crysis should be ur bitch.

  • And about overclocking my CPU...

that would void my guarantee since i bought the computer from a website

  • if dont wanna void warrantee then dont overclock lol but trust why buy a rig like urs and not overclock max vantage i have hit was a P37,982 on a 4.5ghz overclock without overclocking grafix cards as dont like to overclock them if was to oc them id have to venture into water cooled cards etc as they not good with heat as they are.

  • Did you fix your probs? Unless you need to flash your bios (which they NEVER catch onto) you could OC your heart out, just reduce and reset, settings, hardware, everything to stock if you have a failure and need to RMA or sent the entire PC back. I'm afraid to ask what you paid for that PC, cause I paid 2k and I built mine cheap, so..

So did you fix your FPS? Also, keep in mind some games have problems with that much Ram, it can cause problems believe it or not. Take 4-6 gigs out and retest.

  • same as always jus another ploy to make more money from the consumer. windows 7 is a great o/s but you wouldnt find me trading in my 2 x 295gtx's to get dx11 cards there is just no point only handfull of dx10 games as it is.

  • DX9 looked pretty much the same, i felt as DX10 apart from a few lighting effects. Dx9 i enjoyed it just as much. And better performance:)

  • im not a huge dx10 fan and dont believe dx11 bring much more to playing field either and as not many dx10 games doubt b many dx11 but yes i normally run dx9 as on fast paced games u dont get time to take in scenery do ya

  • i have a problem.. im getting low fps with these settings: 1920x1200 16x AA DX10 Very High all

and i have the exact same specs as you

but i only get 20 FPS ? WTF? sli is enabled and everything.. tho my graphics card is from igame a brand from japan i believe.. and kingstom ram

  • it all depends if you mean same benchmark then id say bad manufactorer of g cards or ram not great but i hear kingston good give cpl suggestions.

make sure grafix driver are upto date with latest whql certified from nvidia site and make sure physX also enabled and if your running stock then that be why my system is overclocked to 4ghz gfx cards are stock tho also bench dont mean jack shit in game i could get low of 20's if lots going on

  • Very strange nikndyay. I'm running 2 GTX 295 H20 OC's, Quad SLI, 6GB Dominator Ram and just a Phenom II 955 Black Edition @ 3.7. I had a choice between the GPU's or the Core i7...I dunno I still love AMD. Anyways, I'm running it at only 1680x1050, couldn't afford a good monitor either, the GPU's killed me (Sold stock SC off my Termy). UM, everything set to max, but only 4xmsaa, and 16xaf and it never falls below 60. What are your specs? Even a single GTX260 will outrun 20fps, something wrong.

  • 44 fps with 16x but it laggs a hella alot for some reason.. 44 fps should be enough to make it smooth..

when i take aa to 4x i get 60 but it can drop below..

    i got 17 920 and 12 gb ddr3 kingston ram.

    - i bought it build.. maybe theres something wrong with sli? how do i check if its connected as it should

  • Well you've got basically the same setup as me. Except I got the Phenom II 955 Black Edition, runnin at 3.7 on air, it's fantastic, only $209, versus $900 for the Core i7....omfg. Benchmarks just don't justify the cost, plus I love AMD and know I can OC this 955 to over 4ghz with the right hardware.

Anyways CPU's are the only difference, unless your 295's perform differently than mine, I'm not sure, mine are the H20 OC's. It's simple to know, under device manager it will show all your GPU's/cont

  • Check in device manager under display adapters, or you can take the side of the case off, and check the bridge that connects the two. It's easy to tell. Remember google is your friend.

Your frame rates do seem low, it could be the driver, also you may have an option selected in your Nvidia control panel that's killing your frame rate. I know for a fact that there is one that does this, but damn I can't remember. Try googling that, because your numbers suggest only one GTX 295 is running. GL

  • Hey its me nikndyay.. so i did as you said and it says that all devices works like they should

i got the sli patch so i think everything is like it should be

and for the brand.. i link ALL of the specs now..

    Stream: 240

    clock: 576

    shader: 1242

    memory: 999 ( 1998 mhz data rate)

    Graphics memory: 4095

    Bus: x16 gen2

  • tbh id double check that both graphics cards are seated correctly in there pci-e lane double check the sli bridge connector is correctly seated on both cards uninstall your current video driver and install the most rescent whql certified driver from nvidia website and make sure that sli & physX is enabled in the nvidia control panel can use a app like evga precision 1.8.0.0 to make sure all gpus are utilising properly

  • hi mate im from england to and am going to build a pc just wondering where the best place to buy it is

  • i always buy from overclockers(dot)co(dot)uk because i trust them 110% and good on cost could also try place called powerc(dot) co (dot) uk they are a shop[ based in bedford also good just stock levels are sometimes bad but overall id say overclockers

  • yes the evga 132-CK-NF78-A1 780 sli board is a good board but not your only option the asus striker 2 and the newer 790i board itsmore price bracket realy

  • im looking for a good sli board thats not like 300$ got any ideas, im looking at the evga 780i sli right now its only 150$

  • depends if your going core i7 then x58 ur only option. if not then got alot more choice 780i and 790i are very good boards and offer 2 or 3 way sli. also depends if want 2 way or 3 way sli jus need weigh up your options. but LGA1366 X58 will only house a core I7 if running older core 2 family you have more options!!!

  • i will be running my q9550 intel quad so i need lga 775 , and im only running two gtx 260's in sli, evga makes 3 different boards that are 780i for my setup i was just wondering which would be best for my setup,

  • what are your system specs?

  • if you go to my channel (Click Psyco5talker next to subscribe and while ur there hit subscribe haha and ull find my specs under the introduction section on the left of my youtube page.

  • JUST FOR YOU GUYS IF YOU VOULD LIKE TO BUY THE NEW COMPUTER 295 GTX, i7 AND ALL GOOD STUFF NEVER GO TO THE SUPERMARKET OR JUST SIMPLE INFORMATIC SHOP,,, JUST FIND SSOME FABRIC THAT PRODUCES COMPUTER TECNOLOGIES, THERE YOU CAN GET BEST COMPUTER FOR 1500DOLLARS WITH LATEST TECNOLOGIES , because when you ask something from shop the shop just call to fabrik , they note the price and multiply it by 2 . so if saw something at the shop which cost 250dollars , in fabrik in will cost like 100.
  • do you know of any fabricator websites ?

  • if you were in england we would build for you. Only thing lets my system down is the non modular power supply was a mistake on the order from factory they sent wrong unit i was jus to eager to test the bad boy out and couldnt be bothered send it back lol. but you could try to google - cyberpowerpc there will b 2 a uk and a usa

  • i know that feeling i have like 5 custom builds and once you get enough parts to get her running you just cant resist

  • in honesty i wouldnt but the amd 9950 because it looses in every gaming test ive ever seen and it looses to the Q6600 core 2 quad intel that pick up cheap now. amd run hotter use more power are less overclockable and generally poorer to intel if your on a tight budget then ur 2 choices are lga775 intel quad core family or the intel core i7 920 go on ebay sometimes get some cracking deals!!

  • how much did you spend on your system total, in american

  • in total it was $2,629.59 but thats on UK parts pricing and everyone knows we british pay shit loads of TAX not changed since days of robin hood lmao. but try site listed above that sent you.

  • haha yea true that, you should have went with the modular design and watied causr there much cleaner loooking and better airflow witout all those wires you dont need, but still is a nice system, dissreguard the last comment i sent i didint notice you already ansswered me

  • computer of my dreams <3 lol how much did it cost you?

  • excluding the HDTV - £1700 build by me and my brother

  • oww nice!! im looking at 1.4k for a gaming computer 2x 9800gtx, 9950 amd processor, ibuypower comp =p but thats including a $219.99 24" monitor i think ill sub to you thx for the reply

  • if u mean £ then 1.4k get u a top core i7 295gtx 100w corsair psu 6gb 1866 ddr3 corsair gt ram asus p6t deluxe mobo and case + that tft. but if mean 1.4k us dollars then that get u a nice basic core i7 or the system u mentioned either way b nice rig

  • i meant us but wouldent amd 9950 be cheaper then core i7? sorry i dont know very much about processors my friend suggested the 9950 he built his computer from scratch so i figured it sounded good for a quad core whats our opinion on it?

  • thanks dude

  • crazy rig i wish i had so much money ;(

  • iv been saving up atleast 7 years for a decent computer. I knew things would get pricey by this day and they are, still cant afford any decent pc :\

  • Yeah me to :(

  • get two ATI 4870x2! They are cheaper and better! :)

  • erm hahahaha my brother got 4870x2 and they are a good card im not disputing that but trust me they are not better on performance.... nvidia have upper hand with physX im not startin a nv/ati war here but i always had ati in past til i got these cards and sadly id never go back

  • where do you buy your parts, what website?

  • i bought all of my parts from a site called Overclockers(dot)co(dot)uk an english pc shop based in manchester ur best bet is tiger direct or new egg or site listed above.

  • yea thats the only two sites i buy from lol, how much did you spend on your system and what are the specs?

  • o right thx man :)

  • how much fps? ure fukin rich :)

  • if you pause video at 7:00 you can see the frames per second i run @ 4x aa maxed settings enthusiast in DX9 when i play and and avg across board on all maps is around 90fps or 70fps lows of 40 when explosions going off and army full of gunfire so all in all not bad at all. other games fps =

    cod4 avg (250 fps)

    codwaw avg (150 fps)

    grid avg (130 fps)

    fear2 (140 fps)

    farcry 2 avg (150 fps)

    All games very playable.

  • dude! 150 fps in far cry 2!! thats insane \(O.o)/

  • Do you notice a big diffrence from 250 and 150? Because they are both so high? Thank you for any answer man.

  • if im honest the answer is NO not really any thing over 60fps looks smooth as the human eye can only register upto 60fps so anything behond just looks smooth. Should mention run all games now at 1920 x 1080 @ 60hz diferent games mean diff anti-aliasing settings. RACE DRIVER GRID i run 16xmsaa maxed out in 1920x1080 at 80-100fps in single card config as sli dont work on the game. all other games listed above are similar scores really i have do mixed gameplay vid so see fraps fps counter!!

  • holy shit man nice rig im jealoues =) wish i had the money

  • wait 6 months and get it for peanuts hahaha as with all pc hardware summin newer comes out lol does run pretty sweet but not my game of choice im a call of duty fan keep eye out for [TP]clan in cod4/codwaw if u see us give us a game.

  • wow he must have sum good water cooling setup for them overclocks but is kinda sexy looking huh

  • Sick dude, i saw this on my friends pc on 2560x1600, QuadSLI GTX295 @ 750 core, 920 @ 4,5Ghz, 2000Mhz CL7 dominators. Just like the real world...
