I like Detroit. I'm not saying it's all wine and roses or anything. But it's got character and history. Google Knoxville & Detroit and there's an interesting story on modern trends. Detroit is a very large city area wise and it's had a huge exodus of population, so it's real easy to find dilapidated areas. But also that brings unique possibility. Our whole country is post industrial. We don't buil;d anything the world wants except entertainment.

Mex 3) LA 4) SC 5) TN 6) FL 7)DE 8) MD Most dangerous cities 1) Camden, NJ 2) St Louis, MO. The point; you'll find crime Everywhere. It's all a matter of lifestyles you chose, & chances-choices you make. The only people who "ain't shit" as you state, are those who's parents failed to raise them w/ values, & that's in ALL races. I haven't lived there since 1977 but all of my immediate family is there & I go home every year or 2. I've lived in 4 other States since then, & after 34 years I'm moving Back to Detroit. I'd rather live in Detroit, then San Francisco, Washington, DC, Virginia, or New York. What I miss the most is true "neighbors," people that truly know & care about you. Keep the "plastic" folks.

Being so young when he took office Kwame didn't have many qualified connections for appointments. Almost without exception his appointees were young, uneducated, unskilled, many times petty criminals that were either relatives or friends from high school.
He is, without question, a criminal and a conman. Most of his appointees, as the justice system is proving, are also criminals.
While there's no evidence of him being involved in this murder, he's certainly, by his history, capable.
I truly believe that eventually Kilpatrick will be exposed for these murders. He probably didn't do it himself, but had it done by others .. which still makes him a murderer!
