  • My tip, and Ive had these for a while is to hold each stick between each thumb and forefinger rather than balancing your thumbs over the stick and moving that way. Far easier to react with more precision. These are superb helicopter, great outside but must have NO wind at all.

  • Well it is an indoor model. :)

  • Guys I bought this hely 1 day ago. You have to practice a little bit this toy; remember that everytime you change lift (up and down) you have to counteract the tendency to spin; you can trim only in hovering, but when she moves you need rapid fingers.

BUT when you start managing the machine, she flies very well and stable (also too much...); I noticed also that the battery recharger in the package is a little bit poor. Much better to have a serious lipo charger! and practice with a lot of space!

  • where is the potentiometer again?

my chopper can not hover at all. It spins clock-wise and crashes

    Any help?

  • helicopters fly by Gyro systems. The Gyro you have could be faulty or the cables connected to it, I think is inside Gyro, look into the parts you have besides the speed controller another little box hooked to the servos, then that pieces could be, and is not assurance deffective, check your trims and calibrate them carefully, but also check the ends of the servos and connections between helicopter and servo.

  • how do i know if it is fully charged or not?

  • u can see the red LED light up on your charger :)

  • There is no Trim pot inside the transmitter, or under the S006 Canopy, Just spins out of control anti- clockwise, how do you get this to just hover.

  • Spins out of control ?

    How come ?

Only if you push the control to the edge that should not be happening.

  • Thanks for all comments. I was little away due pre vacation. Usually we trim very little and fly as much neutral as possible, well does not do big maneuvers, but was just a show-up stability flight. The first movement on the remote has to be as smooth as you can, as the engine is so small, tends to turn faster than any others so , the transference of movement to start up has to be as smallest as possible until you stabilize , then you trim it.

    Thanks

  • How do you control it so easy? When I take off it spins and flies to one direction. Help!

  • After charging, they can be a little wild. At take-off, I give a little left or right stick and then release it to neutral. Then I trim as needed. You also have to give it enough throttle to raise it up about a foot to get it out of the ground effect (rotor wash). Hope this helps. Let me know if I can help further.

  • At take off a while after charge, it still spins or flies in one direction. I can't seem to gain control of it.. any tips?

  • Make sure that when you trim, you just repeatedly and slowly tap the trimmer in the opposite direction of the spin. Also, I noticed with mine, that when power is getting low, nothing I can do will get rid of the spin. I'm still working on how to correct this problem. The Syma S001 is easier to fly but they all take practice.

  • I bearly get a chance to trim it before it crashes.

  • Make sure you are taking off from a level surface. You could also try to get as much space as you can and give more throttle at take off. Make sure it gets about 2 or 3 feet off the ground and start trimming. Maybe this will help.

  • I also read this comment:

There's also a 'trim pot' inside the transmitter. If you run out of trim on the 'thumb trims' by the sticks, you can open the case and adjust these (with care) I managed to trim out all the spinning, and now get awesome indoor flight times.
