clam... I don't know that Marty really 'wore thin' on Dave's bullshit (I mean, he surely did, but I don't think that was the crux of it, you know?). Marty's overall creativity was truly stifled & limited to almost exclusively solos. That'd be like telling Mozart he could play 'back up'. LoL.

Anyway, I know Marty was truly crushed when Dave fucked up their chance to play Budokan. That, combined with the frustrations of his 'limitations' being in Megadeth (10 years worth) just exasperated him, IMO

marty definantly helped dave out after all those years doing it alone .but daves "my way or the highway " attitude finally wore thin on marty , nick wanted to live the metal lifestyle , which at the time didnt agree with dave .a bit of a hipocrit after all daves years of self abuse .

Likewise, this is my favourite Megadeth album and this was my introduction to them back in 1996 (at the tender age of 9).

Even though people call Countdown their "black album", this one was more worthy as far as in depth lyrics, ballad-wise and the thick juicy distortion.
