Accturally, It was The Writer of The Script, Chris Columbus, Who Wanted Stuff Like That in The Film.

Luckly, Dante and Spielberg Thought That Those Kind of Things Were Too Dark For The Film, So Thay Didn't Even Bother Filming Any of Those Scenes in The Origanal Script.

1. Gremlins, technically, is a PG. Thats was what the creators of the film were shooting for, and thats what they got in most countries. The UK, however, rated it 15 due to the violence, scary parts, and the dark and depressing themes, like when Kate is telling her Xmas story.

2. Steven Spielberg gets a lot more credit then he should for Gremlins. It was mainly Joe Dante who did the work. Thank him for the great movie.

Gremlins is PG because it was made in 1984, when PG-13 didn't exist. It would have been PG-13, because it wasn't bad enough for an R. Gremlins was the reason PG-13 was created, and also The Temple of Doom.

This game isnt to bad the spider gremlin is the toughest boss. Gizmo has a few bosses but if you play as Stripe they is only one boss though the entire game and there's less enemy types if you play as him.I belive the same company that made this had a ps2 Gremlins game planed only a few screen shots exist of it and if never came out.
