I agree, but the usual definition of omnipotent is "without limits to power" (as opposed to "has all power").
The scenario you imply could mean a few things: 1) Power is somehow separate from god but he happens to have all of it, 2) God's powers are limited by some supernatural law, or 3) There are things a god cannot do to spite having all the powers available (much like 2).
None of these are common interpretations of God in my experience.
God also can't be all powerful if he couldn't help the tribe of Judah drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had iron chariots. (Judges 1:19)

But, even assuming you are correct in this, how does that make being atheist wrong or worse? By saying atheism is harder, this implies that Christianity is merely the "easy way out." If you always choose the easy way, you'll likely never be truly satisfied with what you find. It takes effort to be skeptical and open minded.
Christianity is by no means "easy". Knowing the Truth does not make following it easier, as it involves putting your selfish desires last and Another's will first. But atheists do have to work very hard to explain humanity's spiritual component, which science fails abysmally to do ("chemicals in the brain, memes, etc.). I have never in my life tried to make somebody change thier beliefs. I stayed christian (not capitalized on purpose) for many years simply because I didn't want to believe that my parents had lied to me. I didn't like the religion I was following and so tried to find the "right" one. I eventually had to conclude that they are ALL wrong. I am the only one who can make the right decisions for my life. Pascal's wager may be more clinical, but I have yet to see a decent refutation of the objections.

I think there's a difference between "all" powerful and "infinitely" powerful. Having all of something doesn't imply you have infinite of something.

I agree, but the usual definition of omnipotent is "without limits to power" (as opposed to "has all power").
The scenario you imply could mean a few things: 1) Power is somehow separate from god but he happens to have all of it, 2) God's powers are limited by some supernatural law, or 3) There are things a god cannot do to spite having all the powers available (much like 2).
None of these are common interpretations of God in my experience.

Now that I knew that it was all total bullshit I could enjoy my life and look for the real answers elsewhere. imagine this: if you were in a king's palace and he asked to work for, do certain things for such period of time and he was clear that if you did your job you'll get paid generously but if you didn't do that job you'll be punished.. wouldn't you want to have that reward and fear the punishment.. this is just the same situation..
but the greatest worship is that which comes from total love.. i know my god, he is in my heart.. if you want to understand read one page of the quran..

Actually I'd quit or escape: I'd rather forgo the chance of a reward if there was a punishment for failing (be it by accident, ineptitude or indifference)
Your question is truly pathetic - "do you want reward or punishment?" - you might persuade your children or the uneducated and vulnerable like this....
How about you work to better your THIS world and see rewards (not necessarily material goods) here and now rather than pursue false promises (and threats) from a fictional being.

Rather than try to make me a slave, something every fibre in my body will resit, why not open your mind a bit and go read some of the "evidence" for how science explains the world, you will find it infinitely more moving and awe inspiring than ANYTHING in your disgusting holy books.

The argument about working harder to an atheist may or may not be true, the necessary effort is purely subjective and therefore renders this point moot. But, even assuming you are correct in this, how does that make being atheist wrong or worse? By saying atheism is harder, this implies that Christianity is merely the "easy way out." If you always choose the easy way, you'll likely never be truly satisfied with what you find. It takes effort to be skeptical and open minded.

Christianity is by no means "easy". Knowing the Truth does not make following it easier, as it involves putting your selfish desires last and Another's will first. But atheists do have to work very hard to explain humanity's spiritual component, which science fails abysmally to do ("chemicals in the brain, memes, etc.).
