  • Beast!! Bro

  • Damn dude. You're truck looks fuckin sick. I saw it at Mooney Night Madness when I spoke to you and when you drove by the small show at the "Fear Factory" on Acequia around Halloween. You're truck has definitely come a long way.

I'm taking my truck Sisco's too. I'm having my rear end redone with a watts link and the whole front end retubbed. I wasn't too satisfied with how Lacy did the front so Brandon is going to do it from scratch. It's going in this Jan 20th. Anywho, see ya at DangerZone!

  • @evilpenguin22 haha yea i remember you! i actually meant to shout you out on this video but i forgot. but thanks for the compliments man, im stoked on how far its come. i wanted to stop at the fear factory show but it looked hella dead so i just kept going. post up some videos of your truck, id like to check it out for sure...i just recently changed my mind on bodydropping mine - i got a 62 impala that im going to do a full blown frame off resto on...bag and bodydrop that one

  • Starting to look real nice.

  • @jperini1 thanks man!

  • @DeathByGravityBlast Sure thing man.

P.S. I have a 98 C 1500 that I would like to have lay frame with a lowrider style... Daytons, white-walls, etc. Your opinion on set-up, parts/prices, wheel/tire size or anything else for the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, NORMLkid.

  • @jperini1 oh hell yea bro, sounds sick! as far as setup, if you dont use any other advice im about to give you - use this one thing! DO NOT do a bag-over-axel setup like mine...it rides like shit...bagoveraxel is a 1:1 ratio, meaning for every inch the bag gets, the frame gets an inch...so you get jack shit for lift plus since its directly over the axle you feel EVERY bump...im actually converting mine to a 6 link (check out the KP Componets 6link, im basically doing that)

  • @DeathByGravityBlast i would suggest any setup thats a bag-on-bar setup..it will ride more plush like a bagged truck should, and you'll get like double the lift...and either get a fuel cell or relocate your stock gastank or raise it up...mine is in the bone stock location and im almost drug all the way though it lol...as for the front, you shouldnt have to cut much since your gonna run daytons (im assuming 13x7s) the front should lay easy on that rim/tire

  • @DeathByGravityBlast if you end up having to remove your inner fenders and cut shit up, just refer to my video of my front setup - basically do everything i did...if you have to modify your control arms - DONT!..nut up and shell out the cash for aftermarket arms...i modded mine because i was a broke ass but it was a fucking shit load of work - and it looks like shit too...ive since bought the MichanMetalWorks arms..a cool 550 for those bitches lol...still havent installed em

  • @DeathByGravityBlast Thanks bro. Yeah I was thinking 13x7s and the front end already had after-market (lowering) control arms when I bought it... will those work?

  • @DeathByGravityBlast I meant SPINDLES as opposed to arms.

  • @jperini1 yea actually, if you have the 2" drop spindles, those will work just fine...i dont think they're NECESSARY because you're going to run 13's...but like mine for instance, my overall tire height is the same as a 22" with a 35 series tire, so i HAD to have the drop spindals...in your case, you'll have the advantage because drop spindles correct negative camber a little, like if you tried to ride low with stock spindles, you would have gnarly butterfly camber going on
