Photoshop: Starfield

Hey, everytime I change the levels and click ok, it reverts back to as it looked before, what do you think about this?

Ohm.... try to Make the noise than Gaussain blur 0,8 or 0,7 than use the level... than it should work

When i follow the steps. and click ok after doing the levels, it just goes back to the way it was. why?

Same thing happens to me:S....can it have anything to do with that i have photoshop elements 5.0?

I don't see why it would. I tried with photoshop cs3.

It happened with me, but try this on the original open a new doc. make it 300x300 instead of 800x800. then it should be OK. Don't ask me why but it worked for me.

You can also experiment with pushing the size up a bit more, until you reach the point were it wont work, (if you get my drift). i will hunt for an answer to the original problem as i think this never happened in the past, so I we must have put in a hidden control that is reacting with this method.

I finally cracked this prob. Make sure the new image size is in PIXELS (800x800), not cm, mm, or inches, then all is fine. Don't have an explanation why though!!!!!
