Throughout entire history rich countries have been taking immigrants as cheap workforce to help their economy. While I understand the problems immigration can create, I fail to see how the West is going to continue economic growth without immigration. I'm not saying we should embrace it, but maybe we should have another look at out competitive economic system, which is the true cause of the problem.

I have lived in Toronto all my life – and I know Montreal very well. They are two of the most ethnically diverse cities in the world – and people of every race and background do get along well together.

@verumdolor incidentally the murder rate in toronto in the 60 and 70's (when it was 90+% "white") was 0.4 to a high of 1.1 per 100 000, today it is 3.3per 100 000.. so i'm not sure what you argument serves... its true the murder rate is down 33% from 1998 levels... but that's also partly due to the ageing of the population. the older the population, the less crimeprone. Oh and then you have to look at who is commiting the crimes: in Toronto, 47 out of the 61 gun deaths where jamaican assailants!

People generally assume that the Americas were overflowing with Amero-Indians at the time of European contact with Columbus. @verumdolor incidentally the murder rate in toronto in the 60 and 70's (when it was 90+% "white") was 0.4 to a high of 1.1 per 100 000, today it is 3.3per 100 000.. so i'm not sure what you argument serves... its true the murder rate is down 33% from 1998 levels... but that's also partly due to the ageing of the population. the older the population, the less crimeprone. Oh and then you have to look at who is commiting the crimes: in Toronto, 47 out of the 61 gun deaths where jamaican assailants!

Toronto generates HUGE amounts of tax revenue for the federal and provincial governments; but that money does not come back to Toronto via transfer payments. If Toronto could keep more of its own tax revenue, it would have more than enough money to pay its debts and municipal services.

The Japanese are not the ones who enslaved millions of Africans for 500 years, and Jared Taylor would love for all of them to be sent back to Africa. His implying that minority’s is inferior apes who don't contribute to society therefore making the country weak. Did he forget the slaves are the ones who helped build America, without them they wouldn't even be civilized. Immigration is not the issue; the problem is he wants to expel all non white Americans.

@bagepeeny Just heard a reference to this man and looked him up, saw this. Canada did have slaves, alt--- about 5% of the slave trade on the continent, nor do you hear about the South American slave trade, which was the most brutal by many accounts; There have been slaves in Japan, and they are still in Africa now, but nothing is done. The man said he was only for freedom of association, and what he wants seemingly is just someplace that was for him (no place is so in the world).

Actually let America follow what he says, by sending non white Americans back to their countries. Which would mean don't trade with non white country, so there is going to be no oil, or many essential resources, and now what are the white American people who are the smartest going to do. Without the slave trade, and the resoures from Africa there would not be any cilivised western countries period. Africans, Arabs, and the Chinese were cilivised way before the Europeans, its a proven fact.

How does it follow that if one doesn't let people of different races immigrate to one's country, that one will not trade with other countries? The Japanese trade with everyone, practically, and they have a very strict immigration policy. They're not only racially but ethnically homogenous, and they're one of the wealthiest countries in the world.
