  • The coolest track from TRANCE EUROPE EXPRESS :)

  • Who else spotted a Volvox 3:50? :D

  • One of my Top 5 Best Trance Tunes of all time. Simple gorgeous

  • when music was quality and mtv was worth watching....we are the future!

  • @rosssiddle

    MTV was never worth watching!!

Do I have to remind you in what sort of frequency they used to play such videos and when?

This was probably the one and only time they played this among all sort of garbage. I was very lucky to record it!

  • @rtmnmk:

I don´t know which MTV you were receiving in Israel - we had English MTV in Germany+of course the transmission quality was not the best sometimes but it was also due to transmission technique - so why blame the time 1990-96 for something which is not its problem?

Celestial Symphony was more often featured in the night programs than you might suppose+it was also in the German night program of new VIVA.

The was some crap in between the single tracks but today there is much more crap !

  • @MrSKINFLICK

We have the same crappy MTV-Europe. Broadcast quallity is perfect. I used to wait all night long sometimes, just to tape one or two videos which were worth it, but also made my night (no youtube back in those days). Luckyly, the tapes were reserved, though there's a wear as you can see, so I could share it. As for the sound - it came from the CD and was re-synched to the VHS soundtrack...

*We never had VIVA in Israel, but I can see that they were much more open musically.

  • @rtmnmk:I wouldn´t say that VIVA tried to keep standards of the beginning -as i said both stations were sold to Viacom in 1998+afterwards the dating+reality crap started.I wouldn´t even mind it if it wasn´t running half a day-i´m no puritan. What made music incredibly crappy was the influence of Britney Spears or all the casting shows-a German version is in the iron fist of ex-Modern Talking´s Dieter Bohlen who was bitten in the face by his own Rottweiler in 1999 -even his dog doesn´t like him !

  • @MrSKINFLICK whats all this about mr bohlen?

  • @LDP060681: Dieter Bohlen (ex-Modern Talking) used to control + manipulate the German TV-casting shows till - let´s say - 2 or 3 years ago - but now his "influence" is waning - age pays its tribute. In 1999 he got bit in his own face by his own Rottweiler dog, obviously he learned nothing from this dog attack !

  • @rtmnmk:

Anyway - you´re invited - you really seem to have fine sound quality in your channel - i´ll bookmark your channel + check it tomorrow ! Celestial Symphony will already be in my favourites tomorrow - i can expand my favourites (3 each day) because i switched my profile to educational ! Greetz from Germany !

  • @rtmnmk:

Music started deteriorating after Viacom took control of MTV + VIVA in 1998 - slowly but surely....record sales in our times may only be 1/3 of the sales of the 80s + first half of the 90s + this hasn´t often anything to do with the internet or You Tube.

Many teens or younger adults complain in the YT comments or even personally write me + complain about today´s "shitty music".

New musicians have lost the originality - rap is really often only crap - even pop has become a drag.

  • @rtmnmk thats harsh, MTV was great until about 1998 when it started going to shit. They played a lot of obscure shit they didn't have to play from a wide range of genres.

  • Made in 1993, great simple trance track, got emotions that's are really hard to find in nowdays music

  • techno mtv yesssss

  • Correva l' anno 1992....colonna sonora di tante feste primaverili sotto la Luna Piena

  • Im almost sure this was the first trace tune i ever listened to.

  • Excellent stuff, I don't think I have ever seen the video to this - although many nights of late night MTV are pretty hazy at this stage!

Thanks very much for the heads up, an all time favourite of mine as you can probably gather given my username here!

  • Hehe, I used to stay up late or be up early mornings just to try and capture these videos. Some where played only once or twice and that was it.

99% of the Party Zone/Chill Out Zone shows were pure crap, but the other 1% of good music was still worth a sleepless nights.

  • yeah there was a big mix alright of good and bad, in fairness though I think a reasonable amount of good on the Chill Out Zone, not so much Party Zone as that had a lot of chart cheese!

Another gem that has finally been uploaded is the Carl Craig remix of Hooter by Ultramarine, another firm favourite of mine that really reminds me of those late nights...
