i went to school in the 80's but, if there are any teachers reading this, are there any laws forbidding you from asking students to leave your class if they are being disruptive? Why can't the teacher just send that student to the principal's office or just ask her to leave?

As a teacher, what bothers me about this video, besides the obvious, is that the teacher allowed the student to remain in the class. My thought is that there was more that had happened before this, in which case the young lady should have either been talked to privately in the hall or sent to the office before it escalated to this. Very sad.
