Hisagi & Kazeshini pwns. Hisagi was channeling Byakuya's calmness during this fight, I swear to God. Because of this fight, he went from "Oh, there's that Shinigami with a sexual position on his face" to "Holy shit, it's Hisagi!" in my opinion. Plus his Zanpakutou looks like a cross between the Tasmanian Devil and Naruto's Kyuuubi (when he released the 4th tail).

Uh, it's Yumichika's shikai, and he hates showing it. So most likely, it's all he has is shikai at the moment.

Also, Tousen was not only a high-level captain, but he was hollowified,. sure this did him in in the end, but to be able to pull off something like that is NOT luck.

Some of the characters in the series gain boosts in strength and speed plus other abilities when they release their zanpakutou/bankai. Its very possible that Hisagi is given the extra oomph he needs when he does this but hey; the simple explanation is that good guys dont die in "most" animes.

I think that all hisagi would have to do is release his shikai and twirl his wrist enough to spin his shikai and cut it....
